Which is better?

Since Halloween, I've felt that my Zelgius has been fairly underwhelming when compared with my H!Myrrh. I've been thinking that is Myrrh had distant counter she would work as a great straight swap with Zelgius as she comes with vengeful fighter and armour march which I've never had until getting Myrrh.

Just this morning, I summoned a +def/-atk L!Hector on my free summon and was wondering how much better he is than vanilla Hector (bearing in mind that I've never had the fodder to give most of my armour units any of the broken armour skills. I already have a vanilla Hector who is +atk/-hp, but I've never given him any premium skills and have only given him swap, ignis and vantage (all of which I have in the form of combat manuals anyway).

In short, would it be worth foddering off either of my Hectors to give Myrrh distant counter?

The question you really should be asking is will you get out a lot of mileage having DC on that Myrrh? DC on Myrrh is arguably a solid choice. But if you don't end up making use of the unit a lot, then your DC might have been better of elsewhere. But if you plan on having Myrrh as a staple in many of the game contents you tackle, go ahead. But I recommend farming feathers off your Hector before foddering your only copy.

Yeah, I really enjoy using armoured teams with armour march and use my main armour team really frequently as they can take a lot of hits that most other movement types can and then retaliate and get the kill and I find it really satisfying haha. Would L!Hector be the one to keep though? He has premium skills aside from DC that I'd feel would be wasted if I foddered him. I'm going to wait until at least the next tempest trials before foddering though for that HM haha

While H! Myrrh would be awesome with DC, I tend to disagree with using 'premium' or 'highly sought after' fodder on a seasonal unit. However, this all highly depends on your goals in the game. Are you trying to hit tier 21 in arena? Are you chasing top 3000 in Arena Assault? Are you aiming for tier 21 in Aether raids? The answer to these previous 3 questions will help answer your question. If one or more of those answers was "yes", then unfortunately Myrrh will have to wait for her summoner to get many more Hectors/Hrids to fodder off DC to her. This skill is better spent on an arena core/aether raid core unit instead. Which if your answers were "no", then you don't care for the competitive modes this game offers, then by all means.

If your answer was yes to those questions, make sure you get the 5000 hero merit off the Hector prior to fodder to your core unit. Look into farming it from Rival Domains/GHB.
