Which are the better iv's?

So I have (please don't hate me) two exalted chroms and wondered which had the better iv spread.

1. +atk, -hp
2.+def, -res

Personally I like the defensive one. With summoner support alone he has 42 defense before any buffs, but I imagine being at 61 attack without buffs would be pretty nice as well. Thoughts?

It all depends on how you want to use him.

For an offensive player phase build, go with +atk.

For an enemy/mixed phase type wall build, go with defense.

Your play style and how you want to build him should decide the IVs.

Every time I go to reply to a question like this, TG15 has already beaten me to it! I would say pretty much the same thing, it comes down to your preference and play styles. I personally enjoy building for enemy phase, so I can see the appeal of the +DEF version.

However, I'll just add that one of ExChrom's biggest values is as a dragon killer, and you will want to be doing that on player phase where you'll generally one-shot and take no return damage. You can kill dragons on enemy phase, but you'll take some magic (breath) damage first.

Well I appreciate hearing that! But don’t worry, you’ll have many chances coming up this weekend (15th-18th really). Lol

Mine is also +def/-res and he's a beast! With fury he's getting 40 def and then add his weapon to that - stuff isn't hurting him at all.

I don't think he really needs the extra ATK as much especially if he will have fury and cavalry boosts, plus his hp is on the low side already so I wouldn't want to hurt that anymore. (Vs res which is unsalvageable).
