Where do you hear the rumors?

I mean, I've seen recently mention of IS saying they will address the issues of hero balance and the boon/babe system: where is this information coming from?

I'm really hoping for something to happen with the boon/bane system, because in the last 400 orbs I've spent, I've gotten (all my first and only copies):
-spd P!Azura
-spd Linde
-atk Y!Tiki
-atk Sanaki
-atk Sigur
I'm feeling the bittersweet stress of this game's gatcha hardcore.

Perhaps they are nothing but rumors after all. I asked someone who was sharing it specifically but they didn't reply.

If I recall correctly the stuff about Boons/Banes came from an interview with one of the dudes who works on the game..........For most information you're best staying on here and r/FireEmblemHeroes and checking out Datamines but pls remember to take things with a grain of salt or you might get burnt ( ,_,) (RIP my Orbs) (RIP chances of Ayra)

I thought that there had been further communication on the topic as the interview didn't really lay out an action plan. I took the "we want to keep all units viable" line much more seriously before Sigurd and Ayra were released with elevated BST. I actually thought the Sacred Seals Forge was their answer to Power Creep...shifting towards a duelist oriented meta...but then Ayra came along.

Yeah I try to just worth with what I get, but sometimes a characters entire worth hinges on one stat, and while you can make it work suboptimally at neutral, a bane just makes them inferior to so many other units in the same class.
Like, -spd Linde (to go along with my earlier -spd Delthea) and -atk Sanaki have almost nothing redeeming about them. They are one-trick-ponies with no tricks.
At least in the case of the -spd Delthea I mentioned earlier, I can still use her well by putting a double buff support skill, and a fortify seal and she works as an amazing support who can occasionally 1-shot reds or clean up. But Linde can't fulfil any niche when she's slow, as her base tome is inferior in supportive capacity to the new dancers, and her low speed neuters her ability to run a sweeper build.
