She's +HP/-Res which is kinda like a neutral spread with just a tiny bit more physical bulk. She has also learned Luna but I feel that might be slightly better if I choose to give her a Slaying Lance. I do really want to use her though, especially as all-Flier quests give me the biggest issue and she might help fix that. I do have a +Atk Brave Lance+ Est, so I feel that a brave lance set is better left to Est. Thanks in advance for any opinions or suggestions on how to build Tana!
If she has higher physical bulk, try building her as an enemy phase with Vidofnir. She gets increased Defense when she is attacked. If you think she lacks the speed to double, you can use quick riposte. If she's in a flier team, she should run goad fliers to support your more offensive fliers. Fury and Renewal work well with her if you're not using the quick riposte in B slot and use the seal version, increasing more of her stats.
I agree with this guy. My Tana is a enemy phase Tana. I use her with Fortress Defense, Quick Riposte and Guidance/Fortify Fliers. With Iote's Shield seal she tanks archers pretty well too. I had the same problem as you where I wanted Tana to fulfill certain roles but I already had fliers that filled those roles so I went with the enemy phase set I said. If you're going with a mixed team she pairs very well with Legendary Ike since she gets the extra defense from Defense Tactic. Give her Bonfire as well and you're good to go.
I did already give her Fortify Flier as an option, just haven't learned it. Partly cause my Est has my only Goad Flier currently, despite how now she'd love Tana to give her those Goad bonuses. And part of why I gave her the earth blessing was L!Ike although I wasn't even thinking of defense tactics. I was just thinking she'd be a good blue for earth when some of my other earth blessing units are like Soren, Soleil, Lyon, and Fallen Robin.
Thanks for the suggestions! QR seal would be very tempting especially if I finally decide to fodder W!Tharja to Zelgius for Vengeful Fighter as he's been my most used QR seal unit. Unfortunately my only Goad Flier at the moment is on Est and it would not be worth it to give her up. And unfortunately Fury 3 will be a little ways off as I've exhausted all my Hinatas so I'd have to wait for 20k feathers to promote then sacrifice a Jagen or Bartre. But I really do like the idea of giving her Fury!
There are 3 main builds, hyper offensive, generalist, and defensive, each with their own pros and cons. Depending on what direction you want to go and/or use resources for. Since you already have a Brave Lance Est, I would recommend the defensive set, but any of the 3 could work depending on how you want the team comp to go.

Thanks for the suggestions! I would certainly lean towards Generalist or Defensive set. I like how both can utilize Fury, now if only I hadn't exhausted all my Hinatas for the moment. But I'll probably just wait for 20k feathers and promote a Bartre or Jagen for her unless a Hinata shows up before then. And QR seal would seem good especially if I end up foddering W!Tharja to Zelgius as with Vengeful Fighter he'd no longer need the QR seal. The only unfortunate thing is at the moment my only Goad Flier is stuck on my Est, she'd certainly appreciate Tana give her goad buffs more than the reverse.
