What is the worst choice you ever made in FEH?

I regret investing orbs into legendary hero banners so many orbs wasted :/

I sacrificed Michalis for Iote's Sheild to... Cordelia

I sacrificed one of my two Olivias for her C skill. Didn't know the meaning of dancers then.
I merged like 7-8 Selenas at 3 star, then eventually foddered her for repo. But lost a lot of repo.
Didn't know about the reroll till you get a good hero at the beginning.
And missed out 2-3 TT because I thought it's too hard to get the points.

I spent orbs on restoring dueling crests.

Foddering my other copies of Michalis. Now I only have the one, and while he's well-built, I'm upset at myself that I need 10 more revival battles to max him. At least we have one coming up soon.

My one regret in FEH is playing FEH... Now I can't put the friggin' game down.

I remember giving my Olivia a Wo Dao+ and when I was going to refine it, I refined her Silver Sword+… wasted some precious refining stones there but at least I got some Divine Dew.

Also giving an Atk refinement to Nowi's Lightning Breath instead of Spd using a Fury 3/QR 3 combo that doesn't synergize well.

I did a quest and forgot to claim the reward, it was an orb…

I sacked my first 5* Reinhardt to M!Robin for Vantage because I didn't have a Lonqu for fodder and I was desperate... and he was +ATK IV too. This was back before people realized how OP he was, and the more meta he became the more I regretted it lol. Luckily I got another +ATK 4* one, but that was months later

I almost sacrificed my only Hector for Distant Counter because he was +SPD... Thankfully I did not! Turns out that +SPD actually works quite well on him.

As for mistakes that I actually followed through on... I sacrificed a 5* Raven with great IVs to give Brave Axe+ to - this makes it much worse - Anna. Somehow I had it in my head that Quadanna would be awesome...but that was most certainly not the case. I had no idea that Raven would eventually get a unique weapon but even without it he clearly had a potential that other infantry axe units did not.

I also sacrificed a Jaffar with perfect IVs to give away Life & Death. At the time it wasn't necessarily a mistake but I've regretted it ever since the weapon refinery came out.

Investing orbs into the New years and Radiant dawn banner getting to 4.00% and nothing at all ... and also spending my 50 orbs on the legendary banner and getting nothing.

I accidentally chose B!Roy as my free brave unit when I was checking all of their stats. Luckily I full-summoned on the banner and got both B!Lucina and B!Ike first summon but I really want B!Lyn and B!Roy IMO isn't all that great (plus I already have too many 5* swords)

I sacrificed nephenee(wrath) and fjorm(atkdef bond) trying to brute force a brash assault lukas build that i dont use because its not consistent ....the first 5* i ever went for foderring too

When I first started the game, I didn’t care about skills and what they do so I just turned off their description. When SI was implemented, I still had my skill description turned off so I just inherited random skills to my units just to fill their empty slots. Like “Oh Ephraim, you don’t have a support skill? Here, have Harsh Command, it sounds fancy!!” Some of them are simply ridiculous. I had Defiant Def on Priscilla, Warding Blow on Shanna, Threaten Res on Eirika, Sol and Noontime on various units etc. I realised after a while that they actually DO something, but I still question my existence when I remember.

Back when i was a beginner merged some 4*s thinking they will be stronger ehen i 5* them......sadly that was not the case ?

back when i started playing the game i joined during the summer banners, so i pulled 3 S!Robins, afterwards i pulled a S!Leo and even though i was new to the game i still realised how good reposition was, so i figured since I had 3 Robins, i wouldn't mind putting reposition on Leo using robin. Ive been regretting that mistake since then

The thing I regret the most was foddering a Draug I had almost built entirely(just needed huge amounts of SP to learn all the skills). I even used 20k feathers to give him a Killing Edge from Fir, just to sacrifice him for Fury some days later.

Wish I could get another good IV Draug now.

When I first started I didn't get 5-star Black Knight during my first Tempest Trials because I was afraid Tempest Trials was too difficult. (I was also afraid of Arena and Arena Assault.) Why didn't I realize there were different levels of play? Missed out on a lot of feathers, seals, crystals, etc.

Merging characters below 4-star rarity.

Giving Cecilia both Fortify Calvary AND Hone Calvary due to forgetfulness/carelessness/lack of sleep/all of the above. Though the unnecessary loss of a Jagen or Gunter is not that big of a deal. Still a waste. Could've went to another character or went into a merge.

During my first week of play I sent home a few spare characters I summoned without even paying attention to their rarity. I'm pretty sure I didn't send home a 5-star for feathers, but maybe I kept a 3-star and sent home a 4-star. I don't regret it that badly. They were Lon'qu, Beruka, and Matthew.

I sacrificed a 5 Star Faye to give ninian wings of mercy. So unnecessary.

At that time Faye was iffy and I had a second one. But I gave my other Faye to B. Cordelia so she could have firesweep bow (which I don’t regret), and now have no Faye.

Since that I have played shadows of Valentina and have come to love Faye, and with the introduction of guard bow she is now much more viable.

Regrets

I’ve made several mistakes, some I wish I could take back, and some that ended up planning out in the long run.

My biggest mistake I wish I could take back is when Xander came out and I needed fury fodder to give him fury, but had no hinatas and did not get another one until about 2 months after he came out. I was so impatient I axed a neutral 5* Roy because he was frustrating me with how easily he died in arena play. I still feel really stupid doing that, but I wouldn’t use him today. So it wasn’t the end of the world as I knew it.

A mistake I made that planned out was trying to inherit fury onto my Linde, but because I was half asleep doing SI, i accidentally gave it to Celica. I had wanted to give her life and death, but fury on Celica has been a powerhouse. No regrets on that error.

Beyond that, little things like killing off 5* units for certain 4* attainable skills are considered mistakes by some (like when I killed off a +DEF-ATK Delthea for death blow on my Reinhardt) but not so much by me when I look back and realize it made those units so much better, not to mention some skills like death blow are on a single character (Klein) at 4* and I never got my first Klein until about 8 months into the game.

I sacrificed 2 reinhardt for vantage... now he is +8...

I sacrificed a +1 5* Roy for Triangle Adept on Cecilia or Inigo. Can't remember which.

My only mistake was waste orb in dorcas, elincia and azura banner... 510 orbs (170 orbs each) and well, only 2 5* Stars (Oscar and Lute) and no one came out... Now my focus is making VL Ike, so for now on i will only push legendary banner to get him.

This is probably the worst thing ever done. When SI came out, I used my +spd -res Minerva for L&D. It's painful to remember...

Biggest regret is pulling for Mia on her banner. Instead of her I got not one, not two, not three, not four, but FIVE out-of-focus pity breakers. One of them was a colorless! I need those orbs back.

Another regret is sac a (spare) 4* Soren to give Jaffar Watersweep...before weapon refinement came out that gave Jaffar something better!
