What was your first week playing FEH like?

back in the good ol days of my first week, I thought colorless stones were actually the color green, but faded (im not colorblind i swear) so I got extremely confused when there were colorless AND green stones in the same summoning batch. I didn’t trust the real green orbs so I never summoned on them til like three weeks after my first day. I have my regrets.
lets just say ive never played a fe game before.

Ah... the good ol' noob days...

1.) I didn't know IV's existed, so I built and merged whatever without caring. This led to me "accidentally" foddering a +Atk Reinhardt for Vantage, and promoting a -Atk to 5* stars.

2.) I didn't know Skill Inheritance was a thing until my third week playing... needless to say I was very surprised.

3.) I used to summon from every single banner when possible, since I didn't know which units were good (until I discovered Gamepress, anyway). While this has worked well sometimes, especially on Legendary Banners, I never reached above 30 orbs at a time.

4.) I used to give every unit Renewal and Sol as a special xD. I used to think survivability was top priority, so I really didn't want my B!Lucina to die.

I started during the Winter's Envoy banner btw.

I relate to this so hard. I started around the bridal banners and ended up with a B!Tharja. I wasn't even going for any specific unit too. I just wanted to pull orbs on random banners. 😂

Exactly! When I started, I was completely overwhelmed by the number of banners since I didn't know what units and skills were considered "good". There was the Winter's Envoy banner, Gift of Peace TT (where I got my very first 5* unit), the starters banner, Guunthra legendary banner, and Weapons to Refine Part 2.
I had no idea where to start so I basically blew my story orbs on each of them xD

Same. Never played an FE game before this, and since I had so many story orbs, I would spend so many orbs here and there trying to get the cool looking ones. Too overwhelming for me. I should've saved up. 😂

That was basically me. Like you, I just looked for the coolest-looking character and settled on Lucina from the Gift of Peace TT banner. I ended up pulling her on my free summon as my very first unit, and I still use her to this day!
And yeah, I now always wish that I found Gamepress earlier so I didn't have to waste that many hard-earned orbs lol.

My first week feh was way back at launch. I didn't even know what sp was so I didn't know there was skills. I'm still kinda disappointed in myself

I didn't do this in my first week, but I remember that I managed to get 40k feathers to promote Catria bc she looked cute and Camilla because I thought her dragon was cool. Ended up learning about IVs and Camilla was -Atk, Catria was Neutral (luckily).

Oh c'mon... you didn't like Camilla just for her dragon

I remember those days, I merged all my Spring Xanders together when I could of foddered them ;-;

What is his merge at? Was that you that posted a spring Xander build a few days ago when everyone was showing their favorite units? He and Catria are the only spring units I never got

I used to rage when my Cordelia couldn't KO Takumi with brave lance XD. My only other 5* at launch was Leo XD

Well, I Remember The First 5* I Got In That Profile(Who were lost in time) Were An Olwen.

I played when the game first launched February of last year, and I remember just summoning for everything (didn't reroll). I remember being happy whenever I pulled 4-Star copies of common units like Cecilia because the rates for 3- and 4-Star units were reversed, and I had a ton of 1- and 2-Star units from the Daily maps (that I think are still ongoing).

A few days in and I pulled my first 5-Star, a +Def / -Res Nowi, and I was pretty confused because she wasn't a unit featured on one of the banners at the time (I thought that they were the only ones that you could obtain as 5-Stars). Though, she was pretty good against Takumi because of her high physical bulk, especially after buffing with Fortify Def from Sharena, and ability to hit on the Res side.

Appreciating 4* units... I remember that. Well I still do in a way for skills and merges

My first 5* was a +hp-res young Tiki, I use her rarely now and still have never gotten a 2nd copy

Yeah, I'm still happy getting them now if they had good fodder. But back then, even before SI was a thing, I was just happy that I got a cool, shiny new unit that I didn't have (and wasn't 3-Star).

Oh, how times have changed.

I was actually pretty well informed when I started February of this year. I knew what everything was, but didn't quite do any of the events until the story was finished. Free summoned CYL B!Roy, and got a 5 star Roy from the starting banner making him my second 5 star as well. Then the LA! Banner came out and I pulled LA!Lilina and LA!Roy on my exact first 2 pulls. This game loved me.
