What Units Appreciate Having Odd Atk Wave?

So I've gotten 3 Ishtars off the Legendary Banner, and while 2 of them have good ivs that aren't particularly any better than my +spd/-res copy I got off the Genealogy banner she came out on. It's really tempting to merge her, but having Odd Atk Wave seems like too good a fodder to do that.

So my question is what units appreciate Odd Atk Wave? Feel free to list multiple since I could give up to 3 units the skill. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Odd Atk Wave isn't nearly as good as people make it out to be.
The problem with it is that almost no combat occurs on turn 1, be it enemy or player phase combat, while almost all combat happens from turn 2 and onward. Realistically,Odd is worse because of less opportunities to effectively use it in combat.
Ideally, Even Atk Wave would be a thing, while odd sits back as a substitute. I'd say don't blow a copy of odd atk wave on anything right now, its worse than dual spurs or drives at this point in the game.

Not the most reliable skill, but it's pretty good when used right on independent offense units. These include Blade tome users, Firesweepers, etc.

Odd Atk Wave prioritizes buffing the user before the team, so blade tomes can benefit from it greatly, but you might as well just rely on hones or atk tactic from a teammate since you'll benefit from those every round

It’s good on Bladetomes, but i wouldn’t fodder it because it’s not really reliable.... The alternate turn status makes it quite situational. But if you want to fodder it, put it on someone you can merge up to +10

Lilina is a good choice as she has massive 1 hit KO potential and the extra boost to her atk without the need for team support makes her a decent candidate. Tho there are better c slots for her, u can make atk wave work on her. And while most maps have combat on even turns, some maps out units very close to each other making turn 1 the deciding factor on who could win. Example is the bridge map with the 4 def tiles in the middle. If enemy has horse or dancer, they can reach u on turn 1. While u can choose to run away, u will be very limited in space while the enemy has control over the def tiles. If ur like me and u don’t like spending 2 days calculating where the enemy will move, I normally have combat on the 3rd turn if I decide to bait and not just initiate right away as most the time the enemy will move,repo,swap,dance,etc.
Atk wave is good for infantry units that don’t have a emblem buff yet and have to rely on jones or a select few units who have buff abilities.

I gave it to Nino, so she can be a bit more independent sometimes. The atk buff gets double value with the bladetome. But it's not that great, because half the turns it doesn't do anything. If you actually like Ishtar and want to merge her then do.

Lilina, Alm, Lyn, Ares, Ephraim, Reinhardt I suppose. Any unit who relies heavily on their atk stat and has some other method of securing doubles (brave effects, refines), or just needing only 1 hit (Lilina).

It's effectiveness depends on where you are in arena, imo. If you run in high score arena it's super abusable against infantry and armors. In low score horse hell, it's a bit more niche.

The skill gives bonus but also on allies !
And Lilina, bladetomes, Hyper offensive unit (Firesweepers, soleil, raven, heavy blade users)
