What Soren IVs

so i got a soren on my free summon and ive always wanted to build him but before this ive only gotten 2 of him.. and they all have pretty weird ivs idk what to use.

The 5* i just got is +Def -HP

The other two I have:
+Atk -Spd
+Spd -Atk

which one is the best to use?

damn those are some crushing iv’s.. i would personally say if you REALLY wanna build him, and i mean like REALLY REALLY, go for the +def,-hp for now, and wait for better iv’s. these iv’s will avoid messing with his offensive presence, which could already be boosted by his owl tome refine effect.

I would go with the +Spd/-Atk. Spd is his best IV. While the -Atk boon hurts a bit, give him a Gronnblade+ w/buffs and he will be a powerhouse

Hp is unique in that it is the only stat you can not influence once you've accepted the battle. Hp is arguably the most important stat when looking at high merges, especially since the game has moved away from one shotting things or brave weapons.

That being said, I would stray away from -hp if you think this is a unit you'll want to max merge later.

If you could get a marth with weapon refinement to s rank with your soren using his upgraded tome, you're looking at a solid +6 to all stats when they're in proximity to each other with another 4 to all if you form around soren. Consider also a dual rally and another hone, spur, or drive ability and you're adding another 10 points give or take.

With the perfect t formation, a marth s rank ally, 3 allies with tactic c slot skills, an additional rally for the last stat, and close counter, you're looking at.. what.. close to 16 to all stats. Add in max merge so another +4 to all stats including hp. Just.. Consider that for a moment.

I'd prefer -HP +Def.

-HP is an acceptable bane. It can be circumvented on so many ways by the time, it's pretty much always safe. Except for some suoerbanes maybe.

+Def is not as bad as it may sound. Soren is leaning towards tank builds with his new weapon. He will always remain a magical tank mainly, his HP and Def are too low to state anything else, but some more points in defense do not hurt him.

His Owl tome boosts this to 23 Def. With a potential DD Seal he has 29 already. Personally I do advise to play him with a defense-Bond skill, so he gets 34. He can already survive combat with some crucial archers like that, most notably Brave Lyn with Mulagir. His naturally high Spd helps out here.

The +Spd-Atk IV would benefit a more traditional Gronnblade build (player phase) if that's something you wanna do.

The +Def-HP would be great for a close counter + windbrand+eff build (though that's a pretty expensive build). With BowBreaker you might be able to pull off a B!Lyn counter with him.

I'd fodder/merge the +Atk-SPD one. He doesn't work too well as a bomb unit and he really likes his speed.
