What if IS made built-in DC weapons?

No, I'm not talking about prfs like Ragnell and Alondite, I'm talking about an inheritable weapon any unit would be able to use. Of course, they'd have lower Might so that they're not that overpowered. Would IS even do something like that? Would it break the game or something like that?

I don't think either that they would be OP, most of the melee chars have/are getting a new pref weapon, and if they don't have one yet is because they are common low star units with a few exceptions. The only few chars that may be a pain in the ass with that kind of weapon would be armor units without preff weapons like effie or sheena, and still they may preff to run DC in the A slot so they can use berkut lance/jelly axe, mostly because probably the javelin/hand axe will not get a refine

Also, only 1 char would come with it and would be a 5* for a while, so it would be like DC and hector...

The weapons give players that option, there are better alternatives, but a DC weapon may be useful in certain situations.
Though they would be quite weak for balance.

I don’t think that’s a bad idea.
Weapons like the javelin or the hand axe from other games, spear, tomahawk( no stout in the name), and the magic based weapons could have DC built in and inheritable but have low might and no refine.
Probably having slightly less might than a standard weapon, with the + version having say, 9-10 might
The magic swords and weapons could target res when at range as well for some variety
Sounds impossible, most likely is, but a fun thought nonetheless
