This is actually logical. He's not wrong in the major part of this argument. Just ignore it. Not a difficult thing to do. Just skip the dialogue if you don't like it. The skip button is there for a reason.

The thing is that the conversations are supposed to be part of the rewards, and even if they weren't, some scriptwriter has produced something that's supposed to be interesting to me, so I'm probably going through it at least once. I don't walk out on musical performances lightly - I like to give the thing a chance, so if I'm going to get served crap, should I not complain?

Kind of...but maybe not? I've already paid for the ticket, so at that point whether I'm going to listen is only a question of whether I want to invest my time and energy and heart. If I walk out, I probably don't get my money back, so it's only a question of whether I'm going to see my investment through or give up on it.

But I think your point was that we're not paying for this scriptwriting, which I suppose means we can't expect much quality. I guess yeah, I like your point somewhat. But some of the writing is actually interesting, so I don't think we can assume that quality will be poor just because we're not paying. And in general, not all things that don't cost money are of poor quality; sometimes the only way to find out is to see for ourselves, at which point we get into my restaurant example below.

If you go somewhere and get served crap, thats your fault for going there in the first place, and you stop eating and leave, maybe pay if you want. But if you're gonna sit there and bitch about things because you feel like its attacking you personally, maybe you should grow up and and stop being such a basic bitch that you think everything applies to you when its not directed at you.

Feh is a McDonalds. If youre go to mcdonalds expecting anything mroe than gutter food you were doomed from the start. It would be a different story if you were complaining about something like an actual restaurant with a michelin star, which would be more equivalent to the newest god of war game.

You dont go to a mcdonalds and complain that your "medium rare hamburg steak with tomato puree, aged pickeled cucumber, and whole wheat brioche" was garbage, of course people would call you retarded for that. Feh is abre bones mobile game the way mcdonalds is bare bones food.

More as an aside, I complain about McDonalds even though I don't even go. I've been there...maybe 3 times in the last 7 years? and I still find it a borderline insult if not an outright insult to food. So maybe that gives some context to what I mean by complain. It goes more toward "why is this a thing" than "I had a disgusting experience"

Thats an extremely dangerous way of thinking, just look at Telltale games. A primarily female company that went bankrupt in almost a week. Women don't know what they want, theyre children with adult bodies, all they do is bitch and moan about things until some poor bastard comes in and "fixes" something, which invariably ends up making things worse. Most "men" aren't much better, they've gotten so passive that they just accept everything and do whatever they can to shut the women up, you included, just look at your comment.

I'm mostly annoyed by it because of how overdone the whole "harem" shtick is. Even if you ignore the Summoner's ambiguous gender, Loki and Aversa fighting over them is such a boring cliche. At least Owain and Kliff's "wacky guy and straight man" routine is entertaining.
