What happened during Golden Week last year?

I keep hearing people get super excited about Golden Week as if they know something I don't. I wasn't that serious of a player right as the game came out so I don't remember what happened last year during Golden Week. Can someone fill me in?

Hero fest, this year we may get another most likely but we might get something else. Personally I hope it's a hero fest with the new rein

The first hero fest appeared(a excelent banner tbh).

But this year we have a 'Event' on calendar, not a 'Banner', i think we will get special maps with a ton of orbs.
The hero fest can appear too, but i'm not excited for this one.

last year was a hero fest though it seems more like an event this time around. Something gives me the feeling they are going to do something like an RMT orb sale. likely will be some free orbs during the time and maybe maps that drop orbs as well, who knows.

The hero fest banner last year had Azura, Ryoma, Takumi, and Hector so we're hoping for a banner that good again
