What Fire Emblem character do you dislike the most?

I personally don't like Dwyer and Seigbert.

Probably Sully. I could be reading too much into it, but they made her try too hard with the "I'm a strong independent woman who don't need no man" thing and it was an extreme turn off.

I haven't played all the games, but she's my most disliked so far.

My two least favorites are Mistakening and Fates. Oh, you meant characters. Virion, Nowi, and Elise.

Lol, the amount of hate Fates and Awakening get is enormous. xD

I wont deny that they "saved the series", but im not a huge fan of what theyve turned the series into. Just not the right direction for the series in my opinion. SoV was a glimmer of hope, and im optomistic for Three Houses.

What exactly did Awakening turn the series into aside from giving people the option of choosing to marry characters and having children? o_O'

I think he means the difficulty level, they made it so easy even on the hardest difficulty that it almost took the fun out of playing

The plot started off fine, then fell off a cliff (haha but seriously), but thats partially because the game was rushed. The map design is bland and samey, lacking a challenge that the broken pair up system cant make quick work of. Theres what, 50 maps? Not nearly enough of them are particularly good. Nowi's existence is a problem. The waifu factor and fanservicey nature that used to be on the down low (fe7, for example, had sonia whose purpose was seducing the head of the black fang to gain control, and lyn had a two pixel boob jiggle on her crit animation)

Yeah, Awakening wasn't exactly that difficult, although most of my fun from the game came from experimenting with all of the classes on Robin and Morgan.

As far as Nowi, I don't recall her being that much of an issue as far as fanservice until the community got their greedy hands on her, but I could be wrong about that. The waifu factor was pretty mellow considering the fact that you could actually marry people off in the game.

In fact, now that I think about it, the only character that was "fanservicey" in Awakening was... Aversa?

Probably Corrin, since Azura could put on a beauty mark or glasses and they still wouldn’t recognize her. No hate to Awakening though.

Tharja, aka the main reason why I hate the yandere archetype. Her gauntlet victories in FEH only made it worse.

There's also Shinon, whose personality rubs me the wrong way.

Then we have Ignatius. His cowardice is inexcusable, and don't get me started on that paralogue map where you get him!

And finally, Gerome, who also has a personality that I really don't like. He's just too standoffish.

Xander, no idea why just hate his character
L'archel andSerra, both played into the idea of ditzy females that need others to help and boss those who do around

Corrin- IDK thinking back now she's really a bland "avatar" character and I wish she was better
Virion- I never understood his character and I still don't

- I hope three houses has some serious characters like prince ephraim/ike who would just charge into battle regardless of danger
- I miss the serious characters I feel like fates got that wrong like xander was almost too serious and characters were too much fan service "camilla"(Sometimes) I would love a really serious story with less fan service

I like Serra, but im unfixable and i have a thing for characters like that...

I will +10 Serra at some point!

It's funny because literally every one of Miriel's critical quotes from Awakening can fit this situation.

Kamui as his personality came off as only here for money to me and seemed pretty flat.
Gunter- If I'm going to be given a Jaegen, I want a good early game unit.
( Watch the hate come in for this one) Severa *Tsundere noises* and her personality makes her so spoiled.

Severa used to be my least favorite Awakening kid. I kinda warmed up to her when she was Selena in Fates. Now I'm just indifferent about her.

I hates Niles because of his personality and his design. I don't like Hayato or Ricken from how they wanted to be treated like adult but acted so much like little kids and the fact you could marry them really turned me off. That was all for me off the top of my head.

I don’t like Tharja. The way she treats her daughter is absolutely awful and I wish that wasn’t a thing. Nowi was ok but I really wish her design was less... revealing. I didn’t like Severa, or Cordelia, or Inigo much either... I love Camilla but her squandered potential pains me.

I don’t like Est, Shanna, Palla or Catria either - most Pegasus riders tend to annoy me, though, and I do not like Myrrh either. Myrrh is because of Heroes, though.

FAYE. There are a few others that I find mild to moderately irritating, like Hayato or Camilla or Shiro or Severa (Selena’s okay), but they’re all A++ compared to how much I dislike Faye. I hate her with a fiery passion and she should never have existed.

Edit: I forgot Subaki. I still don’t hate him as much as Faye, but he is a terrible unit in Fates and his personality is just so annoying I want to shake him.

Chrom, I found him to be the least interesting lord in my opinion. He just felt like some 'chad' who everyone just likes for no particular reason. I'm pretty sure there are other characters I like less than Chrom, but he just worth mentioning because of his popularity.

I hate Nowi. So so much.
And Camille and Takumi and Xander. I dislike every Fates character but Sillas, Mitama, Beruka, Shiro, Elise, Sakura, Hinoka and EFFIE. Effie is the fucking godness. Midori is adorable too.
I hate every copy character like Caedori, Rhajat...
Not Odin Selena and Laslow cuz they are the originals.

I dont like Ewan as a unit bc it takes so much maintenance to make him so good. Idc if theres a grinding mechanic, units should be consistently good. Amelia can work, if you can make all them archers lose their bows, but is still bad. Character-wise, I just find Knoll so bland and Wallace is too gimmicky when I had his first impressions on him. And I dont like this character per se, but Lachesis needs to get her priorities straight. Like damn girl, choose between Finn Beowolf or Eldigan.

If Awakening and Fates era, then Hisame 100%, and also his dad. Virion too, Cherches awesome though
