What does the second sentence mean for Atk Tactic 2

I understand the +6 Attack for one turn if the unit is 2 spaces away, but the following sentence escapes me "Granted only if number of that ally's movement type is on current team < 2." Someone care to shed light on the subject?

Basically, your team has to have 2 or less of units of that movement type in order for them to get that boost. It's basically to promote hybrid teams.

For example, if you had a team consisting of Siegbert, Xander, Shiro, and Ryoma, everyone would get the buff but if you had a team consisting of Siegbert, Shiro, Ryoma, and Takumi, no one would.

...Is that how it actually works in practice? Because I read it as "any ally with a movement rage less than two spaces gets a boost." Basically like a buff but for anything but cavalry at this point. Have you tried it?

It means if you have 3+ cavalry, 3+ armors, 3+ fliers, or 3+ infantry, it doesn't work on them. Think of it like a 2 space Hone/Fortify, that doesn't work with those above mentioned number present on your team. They're designed to be buffs that encourage mixed teams over specializing in one particular type.

Correct. If you have 3 or more of any one movement type, the movement types being Flier, Armored, Cavalry, and Infantry, they cannot take advantage of the Tactic ability.
