What do you want from future Dancers/Bards?

Dancers/Bards are one of my favorite unit types in Fire Emblem. I appreciate how they open up so many options and add a new strategic layer. I haven't found them quite as interesting in FEH, I think it's because of the smaller map sizes, but they're still incredibly influential.

So far we only have Azura, Olivia, and Ninian. That means there are a large number of remaining options though...many wouldn't be that distinct from Olivia which is something of a problem.

Notable Dancers/Bards
Phina - Mystery of the Emblem/New Mystery of the Emblem.
Sylvia - Genealogy of the Holy War
Lene - Genealogy of the Holy War
Laylea - Genealogy of the Holy War
Lara - Thracia 776
Larum - Binding Blade
Elffin - Binding Blade
Nils - Blazing Blade
Tethys - Sacred Stones

I intentionally excluded the Herons as I think Laguz will be part of a very large update much later in FEH's lifecycle. But they would essentially be flying dancers...which would be very cool!

What do I want most from future Dancers/Singers?
o Nils as a Green Dragon Bard.
o Any Dancer wielding Daggers instead of Swords.
o Dancer/Singer specific skills like Thor's Ire or Ninis' Grace.

How about you? Is there anything that you'd like from future Dancers/Bards? Any specific Dancers/Bards from the series that you'd like to see soon?

I would love a green dancer, whichever the options.

I like the current pattern of triangle adept dancers. Dancers shouldn't be fighting really anyway. So an Emerald Axe dancer / green TA dancer would be nice.

I'm in love with Nils, so that's nice.

You said my second wish for dancers : herons. A flying dancer will create so many more options !

I wouldn't really care for a grey one (+ colorless hell), though a ranged dancer is a nice idea. Wouldn't really stick to the series, though. Remember that they used to not be fighting at all anyway !

Summing it up, my wishes are
1/ Nils
2/ Reyson / Leanne (I don't like Rafiel that much).
3/ Elfin (male dancer ftw)

I'm not sure about the original dancer - Phina in Mystery of the Emblem - but Dancers in Genealogy of the Holy War definitely could fight...even quite effectively depending on their lineage. They all used swords but daggers weren't a thing back then and they're already shown that they're willing to mix things up by letting Ninian transform in battle.

Also, the solution to fixing colorless hell is to release stronger colorless units, weapons, and skills. :) I think a dagger wielding dancer would be a good start.
