What do you think IS is going to do with summoning?

I'm extremely suspicious right now.
First they threw out a 2-person banner and significant portion of players complained and then realized how good it was
Then they throw out another one involving G duel, after aether raids has launched.
3.0 is probably revealing in the next Feh channel, and probably coinciding with book III launch which was promised in the last Feh channel and reaffirmed through the recent xenologue.
RD and BB banners promised in 2019.

My hypotheses:
- It's about to improve significantly somehow. People who summon now are going to find themselves short of orbs to capitalize on a better offer soon
- some possibility they're trying to compensate for lack of demotions?
- some ridiculous powercreep coming, which is another reason they would try to draw out some orbs first. They have added null follow-up, special spiral, and infantry flash, which I think balance out to a significant extent most of the CYL2 powercreep except Veronica. And steady stance 4. So now time to break stuff again? And we're approaching the birthday of the reviled bold fighter.

Nothing can be more broken than instant armor bst.......unless they literaly change arena and render those skills useless.

At this point it's hard to say what they'll do.

If memory serves my correctly, there were 2 big things around 2.0

Weapons refinery, making normal units and units with a weaker unique weapon. And upgrading the dagger and staff units, who were useless before.

Demontion of 4-5* units to the 3-4* pool.

Now what does that say for now?
Skill refines are an option, as is an expantion of weapon refines. But it could be they just give us a large batch of refines when 3.0 hits.

As for demotions, the 4-5* isn't that big now. The big problems are the 5* exclusive units and the size of the 4* pool, making it hard to get some 4* units.
Not sure how they'll fix it. But I can see them demoting some year one units to keep the focus on newer 5* only unit. And to have an excuse not to have to put em on banners.

I don't think we'll get a massive powercreep hit at 3.0
The name power'creep' says it, it's a gradual thing.
A skill or 2 here, a few units with more stats there... That kind of thing.

There were no demotions in 2.0. Those happened in April this year. 6 months after book II. I don't get why so many people keep missremembering it and spreading false information just so they can get units demoted instead of just, saving orbs and pull for them.....

Book II gave us the weapon refinery and the blessing system (and legendary banners)

Which update was it exactly?
Because I can't find the update that lists the demotions

I know. I just feel that it proves my case even further. They demoted the units a few months ago and yet people feel like it was longer. If IS demotes units again, it won't be long untill people complain again and start demanding more demotions. It's a never ending cycle. They will never be pleased.

New banners will only feature 2 characters from now on. 1 new unit, 1 alt, or both are alts, so that IS can artificially extend the game's life, and or have an excuse for no cyl3 or beast units.

Oh shit camilla only banner would suck then with 2 units only

They might be trying to get people to spend orbs now because with the new content there might be a whole bunch of free orbs up for grabs and they'd rather spread people thin now, or push them to spend before all the freebies arrived.

Another consideration is Chirstmas, getting people to spend up their orbs now, will get them into the habit before all the Christmas pocket money comes in.
