Meh. It's only slightly better than the tapping game in my mind. There's no mix up in the actual battles and they cost a ton of stamina...but the rewards are useful enough to power through the tedium. Plus I have mountains of stamina potions despite my best efforts.

I'd have preferred a mode that changed the actual battles...in this case I'd feel a lot more engaged if I had to defend the featured unit on map. Losing points when they took damage. That would be fun.

It’s fun but the friendship rate every 6 hours is ridiculous. Woke up this morning with 2minutes remaining on x2, and the last 12 hours have been x1. I won’t waste potions during x1, so have had a lot of boredom with the game today

I think it a good game mode but it feels like it tempest trails without the same prizes.

It's an interesting game mode...

With that said, however, that's not saying much with FEH's record for new game modes in my opinion. They need to add a game mode that can actually keep people's attention long after the game mode was released.

I dunno, most of the game modes haven't really been all that 'fun' for me.

Grand Conquest is too much for a Fuster-Cluck to really find all that enjoyable.

Tap Battle is.... it's just no. No reason to really do it aside from rewards in my eyes.

Rival Domains is essentially the same thing as Grand Conquest.

Voting Gauntlet is.. I dunno what it is. It's just a game mode that you're supposed to have fun with, but it's too random for me. Multipliers for the win, though, amirite?

Maybe I just don't enjoy FEH the way I thought I would. Lol

It doesn't help that most of the game modes are fight similar battles on the same maps over and over again. TT mixed it up initially by being an endurance run...but then they lowered the difficulty to the point where it's just an auto-grind. I liked Grand Conquest/Rival Domains for trying something new...but they got old surprisingly fast. I'd really like a boss fight mode (aganist large enemies like Duma or the Fire Drakes) or a mode with more strategy involved (defend the NPCs or get unit x to point a).

What about TT, Krazy? That’s my favorite but really because of the rewards. I enjoy the first few days of it. Agree with your assessments of VG, TB, and FB. I like RD and GC, but GC is kinda a headache after a while. Garden is kinda fun but too short.

Report

I kinda like Blessed Garden, but it's not really updated too often to really be considered that much of an enjoyment.

Tempest Trials is just a mindless grind to me.

If they took Tempest Trials, and made it to where it actually kept going past the 7th map, and added some 'obstacles' along the way, then I'd consider that an interesting game mode.

Like a random unit in the middle (or maybe a corner, equal distance away from your team and the enemy team) that'll attack both teams if given the opportunity, or a boss that'd you actually have to strategize to win against.

Maybe I'm just looking for an Endless game mode too much. xD

You know what I really enjoyed? The GHB and GHB2 7 day events with teams of all move types and all blessings. THAT was fun.

Report

Agree 100%. Especially the movement types on was fun. Although my roster has increased to a point where I doubt this game can ever really challenge me in such a way again.

Edit: It posted twice for some reason and won’t let me delete. Sorry.

I don’t really like it; it was too grindy. But i’ll give it one thing; it finally lets Maribelle tell me to go to Gamestop and buy a copy of Bambi for the PS2 like i always wanted her to.

I'm having more fun with it than I expected to have. Something about it makes it interesting to me. The only recommendation I would make is reduce the stamina cost to like 10.

Report

I'm willing to forgive it for all the feathers it gave me. Other than that, it was rather.... forgettable. Dislike how potion demanding it is if you don't just so happen to log in during a multiplier event.
One upside was the sort-of plot and supports.

Report

On the downside, I found the rewards (save for the feathers, dew and accessories) and cost of the stamina to be lackluster. Maybe some more orbs and less stamina intensive.

The upside was however the plot/supports made this feel more like a mainstream FE game,The accessories looked sick, and that some of the more popular Awakening Characters (overall, not in this fanbase at least) got more supports (I adored Olivia's support. Seeing her grow less shy with each alt is curious indeed)

However, I've seen alot of pretty unexpected negativity. Like, the fanbase expects some infinite gamemode or other and they just shit on it cause it's not what they want. Prob is that although this is an FE game, it's not a actual main game, it doesn't have the wiggle room, and to be fair, none of the main games had Endless modes, and other such stuff.
