What do you expect the new refinements will be?

Are they gonna just be dragon slayer? Will they just buff attack and spd?
Will Roy get Distant counter? Will Lilina get a legendary blade tome effect weapon with no draw back? Will the nameless blade be better then it sounds?

I’m not holding my breath on Roy getting DC. Lilina will probably get something decent. It’s anyone’s guess on the nameless blade.

We will know the day they will release the update, but it's very unlikely for Roy to get DC refinement, since that would mean that they would have to add refinement for every DC weapon

They'll probably make it another sought after A-Skill. In leu of DC they gave Zephiel DD, maybe Roy will get Steady Breath of a Steady/Warding Breath hybrid?

That's what I think too. Even though I want Roy to get DC that's too far fetched.

Well, I think that since the Nameless Blade is going on Fir and Karel, it'll probably be weapon that improves speed and/or special damage. Maybe like a Speed+3 Wo Dao like Resolute Blade? It kinda fits the naming convention. Maybe the refine would have a flashing effect, or a cooldown reduction.

Roy will either receive a full buff to Binding Blade, to give him +6/6 defenses on either phase, or they'll just overhaul it. Distant Counter doesn't seem unlikely. It'd give him a niche as a DC sword lord with high res with an A slot open, so it could be all right.

I want Forblaze to have built in Death Blow 3 and Heavy Blade on the refine. No compromises. She's Hector's daughter, and she will deal damage befitting of Hector's daughter!

Regal Blade will likely be updated to +3/3 offenses like the new tomes, and maybe Lloyd will get something out of his res with the refine. I'm the least sure on this one.

An overhaul is unlikely since it's a refinement and not an evolution. A refinement (up to now) normally includes a better base effect and an optional effect after refinement.

If it were an evolution, plain DC would be possible, but with a refinement, getting DC either as base effect or as the additional effect would make the Binding Blade undeniably better than Ragnell, Raijinto, etc.

Yeah, Leo's Brinhildr was pretty much re-made to a whole new effect. But I also don't think they'll put DC on Binding Blade for the same reason Dannwond said

True, I would actually be down to see how they'd deal with dc weapon refinery in the future. Ryoma and old Ike started getting pretty stale a while back, what with Ryoma being blown out of the water by Ayra and OG Ike being blown out of the water Zelgius and VG Ike. However, I think that should wait for way later, we don't need a wave of op DC weapons rn

Binding Blade 16 Mt, +3 HP: If attacked, unit granted Atk/Spd/Def/Res+2 during combat; also gains Special cooldown charge +1. (If using other similar skill, only highest value applied.)

Forblaze 14 Mt, +2 HP: Effective against dragons and flying units. Grants Atk+6 if unit initiates combat.

Nameless Blade 16 Mt, +3 HP: Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). Deals +10 damage when Special triggers.

Regal Blade 16 Mt, +3HP: If foes' HP = 100% at start of combat, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+3 during combat.

These seem plausible, but don't hold your breath guys. Anything can happen with the refinements.

I'm about 100% sure that Nameless Blade will be a sword Hauteclere, just makes sense to combine the effects of the 2 weapons the base characters have.
I'm very shure Roys weapon will have a Breath type effect, dunno which one exactly tho.
With Lilina I just went the canon route like with Caeda, maybe she gets Heavy Blade refine instead.
Dunno about Lloyd tho, was a total guess, hope they buff his artwork tho, otherwise I will never use him, even if he's getting Wrath 10.

IIRC when you refine ranged weapons they don't add HP bonus, but that's what I want for Forblaze. My +atk -hp Lilina is waiting =D

Personally, I highly doubt it'll be Distant Counter. Not that Roy doesn't really want DC, but it doesn't seem like IS's first priority, as there are plenty of units that already have DC weapons.
Dragonslayer weapons are unlikely too, as we already have those. They'll probably be new skills that haven't been put on weapons yet. Maybe Forblaze will be a Heavy Blade effect? Only time will tell. I honestly don't care; all the special refinements seem to turn out well, for the most part.

A mix of warding steady breath on Roy would be awesome! But please, not DC I've killed a Hector for my Roy lol

This is probably gonna sound stupidly broken but i would love a Brave tome like reinhardt's on Liliana. But I'm aware how broken that sounds.
