What to do with a spare Athena?

The first focus from the most recent banner I got was Athena, whom had neutral IV's. I pulled a second Athena with +SPD -RES IV's and merged my neutral Athena onto my new one.

Now, I managed to pull yet ANOTHER Athena, but had questionable IV's. +RES -DEF. I am debating whether I should:
1. Merge this Athena to my current one
2. Pass on Sturdy Blow to Xander (or whomever you think is suited better with it)

Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks in advance.

Since it's unlikely you will pull more Athena to make more merging opportunities worthwhile, I'd suggest handing those skills to Xander.

Depends on your xander s B skill and if he is supported by cavalry emblem. In some cases fury is better.

Effect is by initiating combat... using vantage doesnt count, cause your enemy initiated combat to active it.
QR doesnt work together.

but, while initiating, is the better way to increase damage of Ignite, better then L&D, fury and Dblow.

You must make build to descrease 4 cooldown time.
QR doesnt have synergy, but will help to buy time. Put quickened pulse sacred seal and boom. at third turn.

But for one (1) damage more, when comparing to others A skills, i dont think its worth, and for the feathers cost... particulary, xander needs bulk, with fury, the damage he take from fury is balanced by receiving almost 0 damage from a sword, bow and dagger (dont face jaffar, or you suffer 23 damage (6 + 7 + 10) from his poisonous passives.

i would save that athena. Who knows if, at future, some new character would have better synergy.

I thought Sturdy Blow 2 would go well with Xander, but seeing how it doesn't quite synergize well with him with the build I had in mind, I'll save this Athena for potential units in the future.

Do save her for later. Wo Dao+ is like the best inheritable sword. Wait for a sword unit with a extremely good mix of speed and defensive stat(preferably cavalry or flyer), or give to a perfect IV Olivia.
