What to do with Saber

Got him as a pitty breaker going for Hector, the sadest pity breaker since Boey like 4 or 5 month ago, but at least he has a good weapon(owl tome ain't bad anymore, but I don't have unit that benefit it and don't plan to) and I did not use many orb. Still, I don't know what do to with him, he'll likely sit on my barrack until I pull something that wants his weapon. What would you do if you pulled one?

EDIT: hes +spd -def, not too shabby

I pulled two a while back, both pitybreakers, and as you say they sat around for ages. One gave his weapon to New Year Camilla and the other is waiting for the next person to want one. If you lack a reasonably quick, tanky sword you could train him up and see how you like him while waiting for someone you'd rather give his weapon to.

That make sense, I also considered giving slaying edge to my Camilla, but while Slaying edge is 100% better than Kadomatsu, it is not so much better for the use I have of Camilla, which is mainly to Kill Myrrh in AA, she's my third Red flyer in usage after Elincia and Caeda so I build her cheap.

Saber's a pretty decent pull; I wouldn't be mad (unlike, say, a 5* Merric). He's not as insane as Gray (who I've seen screenshots and footage of him hitting for 150+ damage in the right circumstances). Problem is for Saber, he's a bulky red infantry unit without a legendary weapon or god-tier stats; and why would anybody use that when they could use Ike? Or Chrom? Or just about any other high-grade red unit; really, there's too much competition.

If I pulled one; I'd celebrate and probably end up merging him, not that I use mine too often. You never know when characters will rotate through on Arena; after all.

Alternatively, I'd fodder him for his weapon, a Slaying weapon that doesn't need 20k feathers and a bunch of refining stones is always a good acquisition. Shield Pulse is really specialized, kinda hard to work with.
