What do people do about a -Atk Ike

+HP/-Atk

I was literally looking to Heavy Blade-fodder him, but it doesn't seem like I have anyone that uses it well, and some people may know I just tend to be rather conservative with A-slots (at least in reserve to actual stat-buffing skills, like Fury & L&D). Fury amps Str/Spd and Def nicely, and I'm considering QR to go along with it.

And to be honest, he's just a good unit to pass up.

If you're using him for PvP- Arena purposes, I agree on your thought to run Fury 3 and Quick Reposte on him. He would overall become nicely bulky.
He would reach 34 speed which just barely gets out of the range to be doubled by the popular Fury 3 Ryomas in Arena (Neutral Ryoma + Fury 3= 38 speed).
Although without Heavy Blade, I would think that Luna would be the Special trigger to Run so that he gets his armor buster quicker. (Aether running at 5 cd being too long.)

Edit: 51 attack with Fury 3 is good, and Luna runs well with lower attack units. Ex: Catria, Setsuna, etc.

I was always skeptical of people who ran HB and something like Vantage. It's common knowledge that the latter just instantly goes well with anything with built-in DC, but he kind of wants to be able to double (aka actually kill things). Not only that, but I wouldn't even consider neutral Ike's Atk as a decent HB runner without buffs or even +Atk. Same goes with Aether. People seem too comfterble running his base kit.
