What to do with Julia?

So I pulled a Julia +RES -DEF, trying to get a P!Inigo but don’t know what to do with her.

I would’ve been excited maybe a week ago but since Deirdre’s release, Julia just seems like a lesser version of her.

As a F2P player, is it worth investing resources into Julia knowing I may pull a Deirdre in the future?

I would say it's worth it. She is still good, plus you don't how long it will take to get Deirdre off banner.

Julia actually has better stats than her mother at being an offensive unit IMO, even if it’s only very slightly (mainly due to her attack). Distant Defence 1 and Close Defence 1 merged into her weapon also isn’t bad at all, not to mention how she’s one of the best green Gronnraven+ users due to her insane attack stat if you decide to take her down that path.

You’ve got pretty good IVs for her and she’s definitely not outclassed yet. However, she has always lacked some offensive power compared to units like Sonya and Nino, whilst losing out on utility compared to Inigo and her mother, but she’s definitely still a good single shot nuker and blue check.

Julia's a pretty good Opponent Phase green mage, baiting and dueling many other mages easily with her high Atk and Res stats. Sometimes there are insanely boosted blue mages in special maps where Julia is much more useful than a Nino, or other green mages.

I run my Julia with TA2, G Tomebreaker, and Breath of Life just to keep her semi-budget. As a mage who takes minimal damage, Julia does not require the third level of any breaker skill (Axe or GTome).

All in all, I'd say invest a little bit into her. She's a pretty cheap unit, pulling her weight quite easily. Her base kit is passable, things like Draw Back and Breaker 2 skills are easy to get.

I have both but find Julia more versatile because of the extra damage. (granted my julia is +atk) I gave mine Gtomebreaker and Fury and she does well at baiting both green and blue mages while still doing consistent damage on player phase.

+RES -DEF is good. Julia is hardly a "lesser" version of Deirdre. They both perform the same role very well, with some minor differences. Julia is a bit better in player phase, whereas Deirdre shines against bladetome teams and comes with a free Quick Riposte. Both have some pros and cons in enemy phase, but they are roughly the same

If you are F2P there's no point wasting orbs specifically shooting for Deirdre if you already have a good Julia (unless your roster is badly missing green mages).

In the current meta you need several good green enemy phase units for arena assault, so investing in Julia will not be wasted, even if you pull a perfect Deirdre later.
