What do I do with The Black Knight?

Yeeeah. Kinda late to this party. I don't have access to vantage currently and I'd like to keep his build as budget as possible as I don't really like armored units and when it comes to red distant counter units I also have a Ryoma and Ike. Advice on his build?

If you're really looking for the cheapest build, don't replace anything and just give him any C skill that suites whatever you need him to be. His base kit is perfectly fine as it is.

Otherwise, Quick Riposte is another decent option besides Vantage.

If you're trying to keep it budget, he performs well with his default set.

Just slap ward armor on him for Armor Emblem. His base kit's actually quite nice for that, and it's about as budget as you can get.

I’m not big on armoured units, but I use BK often in arena assault and infernal difficulty quests as he’s a really effective dc unit with power and decent speed too for a Laguz in huge armour.

If you pull a 4* Lon’qu or Reinhardt id still consider him vantage on him as an option, but otherwise his base kit is great. Give him panic ploy or a buff/threaten skill and your good to go.

He is fast af booy!!! This is the best build for him in my opinion, vantage is a must to have, so wait until you have it.
