Alright, so I got really lucky this hero fest and rolled 2 Owains, 1 Lewyn and somehow a Surtr. All of the have bad ivs so I'm just gonna fodder them off, any ideas for steady stance 4, wrath and special spiral?

Bad IVs..? For Owain? Uhm.. okay.
Are you sure you want to fodder him for Wrath? He's the only unit with Blue Flame, meanwhile we have other units (Nephenee, Karla) with Wrath.
Anyway, I'd fodder those skills to units you're making into merge projects, or units you really really like.
Ophelia and Lilina for special spiral.
For Steady Stance I really like Xander. He still won't be able to take mages that well, but he won't have to worry about special blasting melee units (like Ayra, or some archers), since he'll have 45 def pre-buffs with no specials triggered for the enemy. Add in a good seal and some buffs...
I really think that skill alone has made him so much better.
Still, you could also give it to slow armored units with vengeful fighter. H!Myrrh or Fallen Robin are especially good for it. Pure wall Sheena ain't bad either.
Lukas, Chrom, Shiro, or any physical infantry tank can use steady stance very well because it frees up their b slot which many infantry units rely on. Blue flame is good on Chrom, smolzura, or any other units that's reliant on bonds. As for special spiral, just put it on Ophelia or any other mage nuke.
Yeah it really does get tiring. Especially when new units are released, you see the QnA section flooding of ‘X has a Y boon and a Z bane, what do I do?’ Some units are literally good with any iv. Like Surtr, L!Tiki, Nowi, Seth, Effie, ect. I can tell that Seeker gets annoyed with it as every time there is a new banner he types-up a massive post saying ‘what’s good for the unit, and what’s bad.’
You know what could be handy?
Being able to pin a post as a group.
Like if 10 members vote for a post to be pinned, it will be until another post gets voted up.
Probably not a flawless idea though.
Poor Seeker. He does his best, but you can't expect everyone to dig to his post (or even know about it)

Personally I’ll wait to fodder them, especially with beast units coming in January (who know, maybe they’ll make good use of those skills).
What are your units IVs? They can still be salvageable, but if you’re willing to fodder them:
Ophelia and Lilina make good use of Special Spiral, Steady Stance for tanks is very nice and Owain’s Blue Flame is very nice too, especially on units with Bond skills (I personally would give that to Sharena for Arena maybe?).
