What to do with this?...

He's been collecting dust ever since the first spring banner.... So I actually want to build the worst mounted unit in the game, so that I can make him a fun power house, with that high Defence, he should be able to do something. It's now also harder to obtain SP, I think. Could anyone recommend a skill set for S!Xander? I have one in mind, but i don't know how well it will function.

Xander is also +Spd/-Res. The best iv?

Super unfortunate that he's leveled already. The 2.6 update made such a big difference for the sp you get from level 1-40.

Anyway I ran into a 40+8 spring xander in arena once, it was a wonderful sight. Brazen atk/def 3.

Found it! Only took like 20 minutes. This was two months ago, so ymmv but I really appreciated this build. I was wrong about the skills though. And this would have been back when I was fighting weaker units in arena.

That is a crazy build. I appreciate that you spent 20 mins to find this set, it looks incredible, thank you!

But I don't get why he has Spd Smoke, he could of had Fortress Def or Res, +3 Def.

It's not as good as I remember lol. Hopefully Merc finished building him, because the general direction is pretty intense. Just needs more skills.

A speed debuff would be really good with yours. Might want one that triggers before combat though, rather than after. Or Spd Smoke on a supporting unit.

EDIT: also he put it in the C slot, so his S slot was technically still open for business.

I have a +Spd/-Atk Sigurd that I never used? Would that be good or would it be considered a waste. ( I have a better red cavalier for horse emblem anyway ) Then I could use +3 Spd as a seal.

Slaying Lance+ (+def)
Reposition
Ignis
Close Def 3
Quick Riposte 3
Atk Smoke 3
Close Def 3

With Fortify Cavalry/Def Tactic, he reaches 58 defense on enemy phase, and Slaying Lance can have him firing off Ignis after the first round of combat, provided that he's doubled and can counterattack.

Although Close Def is a pretty "hard-to-come-by" A skill, so other "fill ins" can also work.

You can also put Guard in the B slot and Quick Riposte in the Seal slot to ward off units eviscerating him with Specials.

Wow, that looks amazing. 58 Def looks certainly appealing..
I have a Joshua for Close defence, but i priorities Joshua for Windsweep.

This is my set for Xander:

Harmonic Lance Spd
Moonbow
Swap
Fury
Desperation
Hone Cavaliers/Threaten Def
+2Atk/Def

If anyone has any ideas of changing this set, I'd be happy to hear it.

Only real suggestion would be to put him on a team where *someone else* is running hone cavalry. He can run it too -- why not -- but the +6 spd should be a nice little boost with desperation.

EDIT: Do we have a Spd tactics yet?
