And I'm really sorry to all of you who have moved past this (feel free to ignore me) but I just gotta say that in the grand scheme of things this is totally not important and I'm very happy for Lucina's fans.
IMO this game has just a touch too much waifu syndrome but that has a lot less to do with Lucina (and Lyn... and Camilla... Azura... Olivia... etc...) and more to do with making money.

It's sad but inevitable that waifu syndrome is prevalent in the game;it is the only way to attract F2P players to drop cash for Orbs in the forlorn hope of getting their waif.
The Lucina thing also shows an unfortunate side of the FEH fanbase, which seems to completely disregard her ranking as the second highest female character in FE.
I am genuinely confused by the second half of your comment.
Not sure who the "highest" female character in FE is supposed to be (other than Setsuna who I imagine is blazed out of her mind 8 days a week).
