What is the deal with the random 1star Annas on my friends list?

The title says it all. Basically there are these random Annas which are 1star and you cannot click them to see their stats. Anyone know why or what's causing this?

Could it be that someone just started an account and just haven't worked on their Trio? It took me forever to actually feel motivated enough to start promoting them. I only turned them into 5*'s a few months ago.

How do you even get her at 1 star? When I started my Anna was already 4 stars. Or was this when the game barely came out?

There was an update a while ago that changed the way players would receive story related units when they first started. So the Askr trio as well as a few other units start out at 4* instead of 2*/3* which is what it was originally. I believe the trio all started out at 2*, so seeing a 1* makes me confused.

Yeah, it was a pain since they got less SP when at lower star ranks (At least at 2*). I used crystals on all three to get to level 20, promoted, and again until hitting 5*.

It was nice to see that IS wanted to make the game more friendly to newcomers.

Actually I have the answer. Before I updated they had Anna's my mother and someone else with Soliel in their front. After I updated their normal unit were back in the front. I am unsure if it is because they had not gotten the update or because they were the only ones at that moment to update their apps. I think they were the only ones to update. That is why so you need to update yourself if you have not already.
