What is CYL?

Hi guys, a lot of people here claim to wait for next cyl for spending orbs. I am playing si c'è March, so I have no clue what are you speaking about. At the moment I have almost 300 free orbs and, being a f2p player, i would like to understand if it worth to spend most of them in the armored skill banner for getting some merge for my F!Robin and bold Fighter fodder for my armor arena core (my H!Jacob is desperately waiting for it). Someone could explain me what is CYL banner and why i should wait for it?

CYL aka Choose Your Legends is a banner where units that players of the game had voted for appear as alternate versions. This is actually the second CYL banner and on it is I think Hector, Ephraim, Celica and Veronica. I think people are saving for it to get +10 versions of their favorite chatacters or to get good fodder for their other favorite units. Honestly, I can't say for sure even though I've been playing since launch. But if you think that none of the units will interest you, then I'd say to go for the merges and Bold Fighter. If the CYL 2 banner is the same as last year, you'll get one unit for free from the banner, so you should consider that too in your decision. ^^

Ooook, thx! So in other words L!Hector we had last month come out from cyl eventi, right? So now we are waiting for an op legendary celica (or ephraim, or Veronica), right?

No, it'll be an event entirely for those four characters by themselves. The four Brave characters came from the first CYL. For example, Ike usually wields a sword, but in CYL, Brave Ike used an axe and introduced Steady Breath. They'll be on a banner together and should (hopefully) let us select one unit for free like we did last time. It's awesome.

There was an event where you could go to the official feh website and cast your vote for any character you wanted. You could only vote once a day, but the next day you could choose another character or vote for the same one again, and that'd count as a separate vote. Voting is over for this year, but it'll probably start up again early next year or something.
