What characters to build arena team around?

Been in the T17-19 range for a while, and as mainly f2p was wondering which units would be best to consider going forward for being able to improve arena scoring down the road?
Unfortunately some characters in the image do not have the best IVs currently but are somewhat built up in case I get a better IV version, like Soleil and Tailtiu. Thanks for any advice on what characters to consider! Also if a particular character's set makes a different just ask and I'll let you know the current set.

In general, use units with high merges and preferably high bst

If you have a few armor support skills - goad armor, preferably ward armor - then I'd lean towards Zelgius, Grima and your preference of either Amelia or Tharja. Armor emblem is in a very good spot now, and it helps that Zelgius is already summoner supported.

Alternatively, giving Nowi a water blessing and pairing her in a team with Fjorm and Lucina can offer a lot of coverage for the current meta. Give Nowi a distant defense seal and she....I think, don't use her often - can tank Reinhardt and Brave Lyn. Lucina can deal with many of the current dragon emblem threats and Fjorm can just be a nice Swiss-army knife with DC.

Last option: Vanguard Ike, with earth-blessed Nowi and Soren. Also a good coverage team.

Thanks for the advice! I honestly haven't used W!Tharja much since I got Zelgius and I've been using Amelia over Grima because she was already S-supported with Zelgius, Armor March, and my build for her currently hits 43 speed before any buffs. Although I wish I had DC potentially for her, I know we just got Hector in countering banner, but knowing my luck with Hector I'll continue to never pull him.

The second team seems like an interesting option I'll have to test out. Wish I had a non-neutral Fjorm considering the Nowi is +Def with steady breath/qr set (missing Aether though) and Lucina is +Spd with her refined Falchion and LnD/Vantage.

Unfortunately I don't seem myself trying the last option anytime soon as my Soren is -Atk/+Spd. I just build him up so he has his Wind Brand (unrefined) with the hopes of merging with a better Soren down the road. Meanwhile, my Nino has +Spd without the Atk bane so I feel she's my better infantry green mage currently of the two.
