Well, Sh*t

My 200+ orb dump into the Nohrian Summer banner searching for S!Corrin finally paid off with... A - atk/+def Cordelia. Yay.

Assuming she cannot be salvaged, at least she has some interesting opportunities for fodder. The obvious choice would be to feed her brave lance+ to my waiting +atk/-spd 4* Effie. I'm wondering if there are any other potential users worth considering. My other choices would be:

B!Charlotte +hp/-res
Roderick +spd/-atk
Catria +def/-hp
Peri (4* Neutral)

I'm assuming it's nothing worth it to try instead to fodder her for TA or Galeforce but am open to it.

Thoughts?

Give Effie her Brave Lance+

keep her. 1. limited character 2. get Brave lance somewhere else 3. maybe there is a build to save her now or some feature to correct it in the future. 4. S!Robin?

Thanks. I may at least try building her. I ran an L&D2 / lancebreaker build through the damage calculator and it seems like she would nuke every non-green unit in the game except for a few armored lances, even with the suboptimal IVs.

BraveLance+ is for sure valuable but TA3 and Galeforce are more exclusive to her.

There is many good uses of TA (Raven build, dragon teams, support+TA units, etc). And Galeforce isn't too easy to use, except on hardcore sweepers, so it's quite rare to have a good user of it as a F2P.

I have been pretty unimpressed with Raven builds. Just not enough archers out there and the ones who are generally get nuked by blade tomes anyway.

Any other units that really benefit from TA?

This is just a personal opinion but I'm not a big fan of TA in general. Most good units should be able to handle their color advantage without That added damage. I prefer to use the A skill to better benefit them in other situations such as same color dueling if needed.

I tend to agree. I feel like the only real uses for TA are (1) blue dragons to have a chance against Falchion users and (2) Raven builds. As I mentioned above, I don't really like Raven builds; and Falchion users have been pretty well edged-out of the meta by Xander/Ryoma/Ike.

My Arena team (tier 19/20) uses Nino, Ike, Ephraim and a bonus unit filler and Ephraim is an amazing TA user. When dealing with the various red threats in the Arena, my Ephraim's can one shot basically anything red without trouble and survive red mages due to the 40% attack reduction. As an added benefit, he can run Lancebreaker to deal with Azura since Swordbreaker isn't needed to ORKO anything important.

Also on the topic of TA Raven tome users, the main benefit there is the ability to bait and counter archers rather than nuking them. A Blade tome certainly does the job if it's just about securing the kill, but good Raven tome users can shrug off colorless and disadvantaged attackers in the enemy phase which is pretty good if used right.

Sorry that this isn't an answer but wtf 200+ orbs and no Summer Corrin? Were you only opening Blues? If so, you're unlucky as crap.
