ways to make f!grima even tankier?

idk between close or distant defense, and I'm debating giving her atk smoke from one if the kazes. I'm reluctant to use atk smoke as the seal for her, since it won't help her tank the first unit, and it may not even hit other units

I had a plus defense so I used close defense. 43 def when attacked. But since her best thing is adaptive attack, you should go distant defense. If you want to keep her cancel affinity, then maybe go quick riposte Seal?

I have +def as well, and I want her to be able to tank as much as she can

my PA!Azura has both def and res tactic to help her tanking

+def -hp myself.

Well the thing is....shes just not built to take multiple engagements, esp magical ones.

If you wanna build her as a tank for multiple enemies then you are indeed better off going with close def over distant def. It will hurt her naga and magic matches but help with falchion and dragon matches. But most of the time, if shes doubled by magic users shes kod anyways so she needs spd support more than DD imo
