Ways to Improve my Son? (Ares)

He came home twice, without me even expecting or going out of my way to *hope* for him. Actually, I got him twice in a row across 2 nights! Im so happy I have him and I want to make him the best I can.

How can I improve him? I guess I dont mind replacing his A skill, but I want to keep his tankiness. I've also taught him a lot of specials, like Luna, Glimmer (seen), Blazing Wind... I want to give him Sol, or even Aether or smth and stick heavy blade on him for funzies. Idk

If I'm right he's Atk+/Spd- right?
Well first of all a 3 turn CD special like his default Draconic aura is probably the best. He'll recharge it every single time after the first proc. Glimmer won't help him against some high def units. Besides with quick reposte getting the first charge isn't an issue.
Fury is probably the easiest option for A, it brings his damage and bulk even higher for the first fight and he'll destroy everyone with vantage after that.
Aether/Heavy blade is always a nice option too.

I'd say the best way to make Ares as devastatingly offensive as possible would be with brash/desp combo and running infinite ignis. dragon fang, or astra. Of course, infinite bonfire/vantage also makes for an incredibly effective Ares.

Him with bonfire vantage and deflect melee will do the job.

Deflect melee alows for easy setups. Altho qr is fine enough as is as long as ur seting up on greens
