Was nobody from the Adrift focus demoted or am I blind?

If that's correct then that means after this banner there will have been 5 new character banners in a row where nobody got demoted. (I'd say 7 but legendary focuses don't count.)

Generals of Muspell/ The Land's Bounty / Brave Redux / Adrift / Fire and Ice

I understand why the game didn't demote any of the Muspell generals - Although it wouldn't have been too crazy if they made Helbindi a four star.

I didn't expect anyone from a seasonal Banner to be demoted because they never are, the same applies to Brave Redux since the Farfetched Heroes weren't demoted last year either. With this in mind, why wouldn't they just demote Mikoto? What on Earth made IS keep her five star locked? Especially since they had made the last three banners all 5 star locked and they knew the one following adrift would be too.

Tbh Ylgr could be demoted but IS won't. It's possible that the Christmas banner could take place after this one, since it would end around New Years - If that is the case then there will be 6 banners in a row where nobody gets demoted. Although, I feel like there will just be a regular banner after this current one. Unless they finally decide to make Bruno and OG Veronica playable.

Eh, we're probably going to get a mass 5* demote in 3.0 so it's ight. If not, we riot.

I was thinking that too, but the meta has changed so much in the past year that they would have to be demoting A LOT of people which I doubt. Since they did just made TT units and Grand Heroes more accessible but I hope you're right.

I just need that 4* Leo QR3 fodder and easy Jaffar merges.

Adrift, redux, bounty, and now fire and ice are paralogue maps ie: special banners. Is doesnt really demote from special banners.

Generals can also be considered a special banner even if its on the main story

I guess but Eirika, Seliph, Klein, Reinhardt, Lachesis, Rebecca, Priscilla, Lucius, Lukas, Claire, Athena, Roderick, Seth, and Tailtiu were all from Paralogues and they were demoted. From the second focus up until Ike's debut all of the new banners were prologues.

Also, that doesn't make it any less bs to not demote for five banners in a row.

Flash and Infantry Rush keeps her 5 star locked???

I feel you dont understand what a premium skill is

I never had the oppoturnity to test infantry rush out, but i heard from some youtuber that it isn't that great. (I think it was Lu Bu, but i can be wrong )
As for flash, we had B!Lyn with it long before Mikoto showed up, cough Kaze and NY!Takumi situation cough so i don't see much reason to keep it as 5* only (especially when gravity and pain exists). It kinda feels like Trilema, we don't have it but it isn't that OP to pull for it unlike H!Mia's staff.
One and only thing i miss Mikoto for is her a skill.

Lu Bu is wrong. It gives a heavy blade to all of your allies. That's an entire seal slot. It's probably one of the strongest C slots in the game. Same with Flash and Infantry Pulse, it just takes you building a team around it. I'd love to have it but its way more premium than a wave/tactic skill.

As for Flash it's also considered one of the strongest staves. Sure it isn't chipping, but it's even better. It just turns every character you have into a firesweep character without having to use the weapon. It's pretty insane which is why And to say it's not that good because a seasonal unit had it is kind of off. It wasn't demoted back then was it?

Brazen Atk/Res is the worst fodder she has. And that says a lot.

Well the value of infantry pulse varies depending on what type of team you have. Also the game has made plenty of broken skills 4* available. You really only need 1 infantry pulse on your team unlike other/more valuable skills like distant counter or SS4.

Yes it does vary. So does armor march I mean if I run it with my Caeda and my Reinhardt it just doesnt work as well. Not really an argument it isn't premium. Just the pulse skill allows my entire team to get off a special on the first instance of combat. But outside of use It's premium whether or not you think it is. That's not how it works. Same with Chills and same with Bonds (so far). And Mikoto not being demoted for that obvious reasons proves this entire site right.

And? Since when have player opinions had an impact on demotion based on skills. The Valor skills have zero practical use outside of speeding up a grind that's possible even without them. Regardless, there hasn't been a single instance they have been allowed for demotion. Lene, for example, can be compared to Silvia. They fulfill very similar roles, and even have similar weapons, yet only the latter was demoted. While it can be argued that the reason was due to Safeguard having more use than Barrier Blade, it still stands out as an example of them keeping us from getting skills that have no business being kept as hard to obtain as they are.

Well I'm a grand summoner and I have been just about every single week, so I think I know what a premium skill is. Why don't you try communicating like a normal person instead of a clown?
