Was hoping for better
Before i get ripped to shreds, yes i understand that 3.0 is still coming and we could still get some better content. Considering they've more or less left us hanging for 3+ months now i just kind of expected better. Aether Raids (more soft pvp content) just doesn't move the needle for me. The rewards seem to be structured as a cross between Arena and AA with the real prize being the Grails. Sadly i'll probably end up treating this the same as i do AA. Do my basic runs, get what i can, and get out. Replayable PvE content when?
As for now being able to purchase TT/GHB units this (at least for me) is the real highlight of this FEH channel. Especially the TT units for which most have been limited to 2 copies and only if you were around for for that TT so this will be very nice for those that wish to truly build these units.
The new unit availability is a nice QoL touch to the game but Aether Raids still doesn't deliver enough playable content that the player base has been looking for. Here's hoping that 3.0 can deliver.

Ehh Aether Raid has much more conte tan the other arenas. You can customize your base, up to 6 units, and to reach the top it isnt a "Basic run" you have to, from the looks of it, grind for it. It may not be BST based, and it sure as hell looks like it's going to be one hell of a ride through the higher tiers. With more creativity (and a fuck to of Reins and dancers XD)

well they had to design a lot of new assets to get this new mode up and working, I was watching this FEH channel and thinking "My god, thats a lot of new sprites they had to draw"
I'm not surprised it took them so long, they kept up entertained with new units like it was nothing while also designing basically a entirely new game.

I guess for me it's not that they made a new mode that i take issue with, it's that it's another pvp mode using a game model that's already extremely flawed for pvp purposes. I personally just feel their efforts would be better spent developing quality pve content which is generally more sustainable on a gatcha game. But to each his own i guess.

The same problem that has been plaguing Arena since the beginning in that It's still likely to be tied somehow to BST/premium skills. Since they stated that we have a limited resource to play each week there's no way it will be a simple as "you win, you move up a tier", wouldn't that be nice. Hence why this mode will probably still suffer from the same old problems that we've had for ever, at least to some degree.

Yeah i've seen a lot of requests for pvp content as well. But most of those request seemed to be for LIVE pvp content. While that really isn't possible for this game as it's currently designed, I guess I find it a little surprising that other than book 3 this might have been their "big" project that they've been working on.
