Wary Ward AR Defense
I ran into an AR defense team that was all armor units, that had lots of Ward Armor buffs. I managed to beat it, but it got me wondering...would a team with both Ward Armor and Wary Fighter work to stall the offense teams long enough? Curious if it would work.
Edit: The team also had Svalinn's Shield on a few of the armor units, so that's also something that everyone could have as their A skill. Basically, the point would be to just make them so bulky and not easy to kill that the enemy teams waste all their turns trying to kill them, while also keeping the aether pots far away from them so that they waste turns going after them too. Basically, the stall game.
They're better on defense teams for softening up the offense teams. I've seen quite some Pain healers on defense teams.
That one armor team just had me thinking, if I gave everyone Svalinn's Shield/Wary Fighter/Ward Armor, and just shoved them in a corner in a 2x3 grid, they would all be getting 16-20 defense and resistance (depending on placement), and if good mixed bulk, should easily be able to survive a ton of hits. Plus, Winter Eirika is an armored healer, so she and the Healing Tower can keep them sustained. It was an idea I had and was thinking it could work.
