Warding/steady breath + heavy blade question

just want to know if I have the understanding right. Steady only works in enemy phase. It procs in all instances of combat ie even when you counter attack.

Heavy blade works both in enemy phase and playerphase for all instances of combat, assuming your attack is higher. Or does it only proc when you are doing the attacking ie not on enemy attacks?

If heavy blade works in all instances of combat, there’s no reason to have both steady breath + heavy blade on enemy phase because they don’t stack?

Heavy blade works for both phrases since the condition is that your unit has higher atk and “hit “the enemy.

So heavy blade won’t work in enemy phase when enemy hits you, only when your hitting enemy back it works?

Similarly in player phase combat, if enemy counters heavy blade doesn’t proc?

Report

Heavy blade won’t work unless you actually hit your enemy such that if a range enemy your melee unit and you can’t hit back, heavy blade won’t work
As for the second Question enemy counter does not affect heavy blade since it’s only condition is that your unit have to deal damage (no matter player or enemy phrase) and have higher atk than the enemy’s atk

oh I see for heavy blade, if your unit attacks and if they attack is higher, it procs (regardless of enemy/player phase)

for steady, if your attacked, it procs (regardless of enemy/player phase)

Nope....thats the way its balanced. Its only enemy phase because it give an extra cooldown charge when BOTH atacking AND defending which is a REALLY strong effect.

So basically
Heavy blade: mixed phase if atk conditions met
Steady breath: enemy phase only

Oh wait yeah. Ur talking about running both on a unit right. Then ye ur better of not doing that and specializing on enemy phase for steady breat. Runninng close/distant def instead

Heavy Blade only work when you attack or counter, the Steady only work in enemy phase, even when suffer attack (here is the difference between two skills)
