Warding Breath or Steady Breath on my Dragons

Hi guys. I luckily pull an extra Brave Ike, when i was going for Ephraim i pulled an extra Legendary Ike, so i have 1 steady and 1 warding that can use to finally build my dragon team. I have Nowi or Tiki, Should i give Nowi Steady and Tiki Warding or should i see if i can pull another Brave Ike and give that warding to Fjorm? Any suggestions? Thank you.

Typically Steady Breath is the better of the two.Warding Breath on Tiki helps ensure she can tank Julia or Deirdre, helping to shore up one of the dragon weaknesses. Meanwhile, Nowi can utilize Steady Breath to better tank Falchion.

Thanks, mostly i'm asking because i can't spend more money xD, Legendary Ephraim almost bankrupted my wallet. These were the last F2P Orbs from quest and log-in. But i can give a shot trying to get another Brave ike. But if i give one warding and 1 steady to my dragons, i mostly will give steady to Fjorm if i got another Brave Ike in the future.

The dragons are still quite good with Fury, but if you are wanting to invest in them then 1 Steady and 1 Warding is fine. I hardly pulled on the Legendary Ephraim banner. I spent 40 orbs and got a single L!Ephraim then went back to pulling for more Grima. XD

I did! I got one with +HP/- Res. I'll take it haha. Here is my Nowi. I'm running her on a mixed team with Grima and BK, thus the Atk Tactic. If you aren't running her on a mixed team, I would include one of the following C skills: Panic Ploy, Infantry Pulse, one of the Drive skill with Drive Def being the best, Hone/Fortify/Ward Dragons on a dragon team.

Edit: My Nowi is +Spd/-HP. I've enjoyed these IVs best since it helps avoid a lot of doubles. If you give her Fury and a Speed refinement, you can actually get her to 40 speed which is pretty damn fast. I prefer to split the difference, however, and use a Speed boon and a Def refinement.

I was wondering is it possible to get all weapon refinements for Nowi. For example, one has +Atk, +Spd, +Def and +Res Lightning Breaths then merge to that One Nowi +Spd -HP ver will she get em all?

I think if you merge her, she will keep all the refinements(oh so i was wrong). but you can only equip one, so i think it's a waste of SP and Medals. Unless you need Spd or Atk refinements to some GHB/BHB or Chain Challenges. mostly you need +Def for bulky builds, +spd to avoid being double. That nowi is great man, i would like to give her atk tactic but i don't have the spare Siegbert or LA Lilina xD.

I got a random Siegbert as a pity breaker and put him to good use since he was a spare. My Grima has Def Tactics, putting the free VL Ike to good use. Currently I'm running Grima +5, BK +2, and Nowi +10 As my mixed team core with Fae +10 as my 4th this week since Grima/Nowi are bonus units.

Yes, after 5 stupid Shiros(sorry for the salty, bit seriously? Shiro?) I finally get L!Ephraim. What is better RNG give me one of the best IVs as compensation I suppose. For nowi +Atk, +Def or +Spd, depending on what you want. But since Lightning breath only has 12 power I think is better +Atk to max out his damage. But I have seen some +Def really crazy. So basically depends on you. Banes -HP o -Res. -Res can be good for running Panic Ploy but it has a super bane and I don't like that. -HP is better but panic ploy will not trigger so often.

I'm glad you got good IVs for him! I think a HP bane is way better than a Res one. Your weapon refinement patches the HP loss and as a DC weapon user, losing out on the Res is pretty painful especially as a super bane.

Thanks, that Ephraim cost me a lot, also i have an extra Brave Lyn so i will see if i give Atk Smoke to Ephraim, since he mostly needs to battle alone to activate his weapon effect. Yes, -HP is better, i still don't know if give panic ploy to my Nowi, i planning on make her +10 but with 51 HP she will not be able to panic ploy heavy armors like Effie, but i will see. I haven't decided what sill C give to her. xD.

Panic Ploy isn't particularly good against armors anyways. Most armor teams run Armored March on 1 or 2 members and then run Goad or Ward if at all. Panic Ploy only works against Hone or Fortify type buffs, such as the ones that Blade tome users need. Panic Ploy is best used against those tome users and Nowi can proc it against those mages. Even if an armor team were to be using those mages, she has more HP than LA Lyn, the most reasonable user of it (H!Henry and W!Tharja usually want Owl tomes although if some madman does use a Blade tome then Nowi would still be able to proc Panic Ploy since blade tomes don't have refinement available and Nowi would still barely have more HP, unless H!Henry has a boon in HP for some reason.)
