Walhart Infernal Suggestions?

I’m getting my ass handed to me by Walhart’s infernal GHB, which is problematic because I kind of need the merges so he can be more effective on my Calvary team. What do you guys recommend to take into the fray? I’ve so far been using my main team -

Azama +3
-Atk +Def (45/29/27/36/26)
Dazzling Pain +
Martyr +
Miracle
Close Def 3
Guard 3
Savage Blow 3
Distant Def 3

Ryoma + 1
I don’t actually remember his IVs? (42/50/33/30/21)
Raijinto
Reposition
Bonfire
Steady Breath
Vantage 3
Hone Atk 3
Brash Assault 3

Reinhardt +6
-Def +Res I think? (41/40/20/25/31)
Dire Thunder
Reposition
Moonbow
Death Blow 3
Lancebreaker 3
Odd Atk Wave 3
Quicken Pulse

Legion +3
Neutral, but Summoner Supported (58/58/44/28/24)
Giant Spoon +Spd
Reposition
Luna
Fury 3
Desperation 3
Threaten Defense 3
Heavy Blade 2

But something (typically a Red mage or green physical unit) backhands me before I manage to get around to actually winning. Closest I’ve gotten is only Walhart himself and green dragon left, but Ryoma gets overwhelmed or they bypass Miracle. Any suggestions on what I can change? (Other than IVs, since I ain’t got the funds for that my dudes)

Try L!Ike in place of Ryoma?

The team I personally used consisted of
L!Ephraim(+1)
L!Ike(+3)
B!Tharja
SF!Nino

Most battles were done so I had color advantage (exception being Tharja vs Red Mage - Tharja had DD3 seal and Nino had Spur Res seal to keep Tharja alive during that matchup).

I always find these questions impossible to answer, as it is just as much, if not more so, how you actually play the map. I'd suggest maybe investing in a DC tank. Someone to take on those mages in the beginning. Kill them in a single turn, while letting you get more optimal placement for the coming turns.

Ploys and the like can be helpful. You can use spoiled tacomeat to give everyone food poisoning. Mixing up your support skills with things like Swap and Draw back are also good, as I find diversity more useful. Besides, reposition requires more squares to function, and this map isn't designed to optimize that skill.

Actually, you’re right, I need to use draw back more than I have been reposition, so i think I’ll try changing that up and seeing if that helps. What tends to happen is one of them gets stuck because I try to reposition them out of the way into something (or someone) else, so I think you’re onto something. Thank you!

A red mage accompanied by almost any DC unit and a dancer can do the job. You can come to the solution yourself: just do your best with your current lineup, spot the biggest weakness and try fixing it.

For me personally, the biggest problem was the very first green armor that I wasn't able to kill on my first turn on my very first try. Got wrecked, swapped one unit for an axebreaker red mage and the job was done.

If you will continue having problems, you can just type "Walhart infernal f2p" on youtube and you'll definitely find something with units that you have and without forcing you to do some weird SI choices.

That Axe Armor gives me all kinds of problems, but you’re actually pretty spot on. I think i might see about changing up what I have to try again.

As reference, I used my Armor Emblem to complete this quest. They have yet to fail an Infernal GHB yet, even though they are hardly optimal. Mobility was my biggest foe, as I'd have to tank several hits each turn, and had no way to retreat, so it was a puzzle in finding ways to gets the right units to get hit by the right enemies at the proper times.

I used https://Youtu.be/sUuvLLbDEmk as a start. Used NY!Camilla in place of Nephenee and Flying Nino for Sanaki. Went of script but it was a good start and I got it done.

Any lance that can double the firesweep sword can sub for Cordelia but Galeforce helps

Dont know if this will help, but i beat it with a standard L!Ike, a distant counter Myrrh, a healer (in my case it was a dazzling gravity sheep) and a refined aura linde.
I used both ike and myrrh to bait enemies while the sheep healed them, ocasionally using gravity to control their movement, and using linde to pick off targets when she was close enough to get auras bonus and not leave her open to a counter attack.
It took a few turns but wasnt particularly hard.
