Loads of other people probably said this but...

There are rumours that some ‘major update’ is coming in December, and I think in January or February we’re getting RD units.

Let’s say this major update is so that we can get beast units in the game, then yay cool!

But IS also said that it takes about 2 or more months to make a unit, since they need artwork, voices, programming, etc.

Maybe we may get beast units that are from RD? Since 2 months after December is February, and when/if IS make it possible to have beast units then maybe they’ll make the beast characters from RD?

That’ll be amazing! I would love to know about the beast units and more characters from RD and games that aren’t Fates/Awakening since I haven’t play those!

If beast stones actually come out, It's gonna be so fucking hard for me to save orbs for L!tiki.

Can someone explain me why everyone wants beast units to get introduced in the game so badly?
If it's their favorite units i can understand, but i don't thinks it's everyones favorite.
I personally don't care if they get introduced or not but maybe that's because i haven't played any FE game exept for heroes

It's a whole type of units left out of the game.

Besides it has the posibility of working in a more unique way, something new

If you remove all the units currently in the game from the CYL2 poll, the top 5 units are all beast units. They have a lot of fans.

If it does add Beast units from Radiant Dawn,it probably be Volug,Skirmir,Kurthnaga and Vika. I think those are the only 4 Beast units that were introduced as playable in Radiant Dawn. Oh and Rafiel!

Nailah was new, came across the desert with Volug.

Kurthnaga would probably just count as a dragon.

Oh right I forgot about Nailah and Lyre. There was a Tiger to named Kyza. I only really use Ranulf,Volug,Tibarn and Reyson/Leanne,so I forgot about them.

What do people envision beast units being, exactly?

I guess I could see it as a new movement type, infantry without terrain based movement penalties. Not sure how they'd make them "like dragons" since dragons are close range magic damage. The only range-type niche thats left to fill that I could think of would be melee-dagger, which I don't think would make anyone happy, or make much sense canonically.

I'm sure they must want to do something with them. If they were going to make them just infantry with fancy transformation animations I'd think kaden et all wouldnt be conspicuously missing from the character lineup so far.

Having beaststones be a physical melee class that inherits across color would certainly be new. Ideally they'd come up with weapon names that also make sense on bird tribe laguz so they don't need separate beak weapons.
