Last NY banner only had 3 unit's which is why NY.Corrin is their while the new one has 4, for VG like these they always put the old seasonal up against the new ones

Laegjarn knew she would clearly win the VG and there were only 8 slots but 9 units, so she graciously stepped down so the rest could figure out who'd be the second-best of the potential VG units.

Laegjarn best NY unit! And I admit I'm extremely biased! Because last years NY units were so meh, overused Fates characters that have only gotten even more dreadfully overused since, except Corrin but he's still meh. And as far as Heroes OCs go Laegjarn's the only one I care about, Laevatein is okay but the rest I'm completely indifferent to.
