Nina's dialogue sold me.

Yeah, I went with Arvis because I use him the most of these. I have a Robin, but he's not very good, so I'm not using him. Didn't even think to use my Julia. And my Niles isn't optimal. Don't have any of the others, and I do like to use the one I'm supporting for the bonus points.

Was kinda surprised to see a lot of people go for Arvis > Hector. Maybe I should play more of the core games? 🤔

I love Hector, but there's just something about Arvis that's extremely compeling.

Aside from how his unit plays in FEH, his character seems extremely confident, which I really like.

Hard to explain without spoilers, but he's both succesful and tragic.
He's just a pretty deep character that's still a villain but also sympathetic.

But yeah, arvis is a well written villian all right, still, i couldnt say no to lilina and hector.

Morgan's my first choice but I have about a 10% win rate for whoever I back so I'll no doubt be supporting Nina in round 2.

Who knows? Maybe I'm wrong and poor Morgan loses? 🤔 I hope not.

I often back the more popular after the first hour which I take as the accurate level of support but, as the gauntlets are nothing more than 'who gets the multiplier last', I seem to nearly always back the loser. Can't remember when but I backed someone who was in the lead for hours at a time while the opponent struggled to catch up with multipliers, guess who won.

I'm a little annoyed that this is only father vs. daughter for the first round, the way they set it up. I kinda feel like it should have been all the fathers on one side and all the daughters on the other, so that it's more the theme of the overall gauntlet rather than just the theme of the first battle. Even though the odds of an ultimate father vs. daughter match would be lower, it would be more epic if that's how it had ended up as the final match.
