Valter is actually surprisingly good

I promoted him yesterday and after playing some games (he's only around lvl20 now tho), I have to say that I'm really surprised about how well he performs, especially when he's babysitted by a mage that checks his weaknesses, while also keeping him healthy (in my case Julia who has a similar lvl is his babysitter).
It's nice to see that he most likely won't be too dependent on flier buffs, because he can stand his own even without them.
Do you also have positive feedback to give or did you find some crippling weaknesses, that can't be easily resolved?

he's good. didn't even know people sleep on him. definitely one of the better GHB units imo. his basekit is already good, really all you need to do is add a b and support skill and he's good to go. maybe switch out the a slot for something that helps him in the enemy phase since he does have quite nice bulk. just not fury or he slowly kills himself. fury even perform worse than darting blow in the player phase. well, 'even', darting blow is a nice skill to have

anyway, he's good.

A unit's performance is better judged in their max-level stats in the Arean or Trials. Looking at his actual stats, they do look pretty great. And not only that, he has innate Fury 2 + Killer effect in his weapon.
