Upgrading the castle

If I could go back, I would never have upgraded the castle. Unless it plays in to the new game modes. It's so much more stamina efficient to to farm sp on lower level maps. The exp boost is actually a detriment!

I agree that's why I only ever upgraded mine up to the 60 %(i think) but sometimes when I want to fodder off a unit that has a skill in 4 stars the extra xp is actually helpful.

It is detrimental to sp, but also time saving for experience. Some people don’t have the patience to get a unit to level 40 without boosts. I remember how excited I was when I was able to level units up quickly. And with various modes to get SP fast, it’s not that big of a deal.

And for fodder you don’t want to or can’t shard to 20, it saves a lot of hassle. Some of the fodder units are just horrible on their own.

I mean, it isn't without its benefits for some. I'm just complaining about not having had the foresight to realise it would be a bad move 10 months down the road.

I feel that people who need the exp boost to expedite leveling are capable of earning the crystals.

I feel a good change to it would actually be reducing the steam cost of training towers by a small amount at certain levels. Or even allow you to disable the exp boost.

um...it seems I've also upgraded mine to 100%.I think its not that bad idea.This helps you level up faster.If you want to sp grind use cain challenge.Also you can use units that double sp gain.Some occasions we get 2 times sp boost that might be helpful.

I always thought so was easy to farm and have way too much of. Stam too. Also if you have a lot of copies of same hero to merge, you never have to farm sp. You get thousands of space just merging alone.

It's a bit different when you have 200 5*s you need to train, haha. I'd rather use the crystals for the last two levels and not have to spend the stam fighting stratum 8. I need all those stamina pots to hit top 500 in tempest trials, haha.

It's just 30 orbs total. I don't want to waste pots just leveling up a character to 40. SP is better farmed in CC but you need to do the last set which has a set level of 35 on normal and getting to those levels is fastest in tower with max boost. And 10 months down the road, it would have paid itself hundreds of times already.

On my current account I don't have it, most units still level up just killing 1 enemy lol, around the level 35 point it still only takes 2 or 3 runs of the special training maps to reach max
