Unused Lyn, what should I do with her?

So I pulled a neutral IV Eldigan and have been wanting to build a cavalry team. I’d love to give him Galeforce but the only two units I have to offer for it are my Brave Roy I’ve already built, and my ideal-IV Lyn (regular, red Lyn) who I’ve had since I started playing but I never use.

I don’t have Brave Lyn or anything cool like that. So far the team is Brave Roy, Ursula (I don’t own a Reinhardt, but maybe she could be built as an anti-Brave Lyn, since my...) Cecilia (...doesn’t have a Bowbreaker for me to give her but she has good IVs), and... I need a fourth. I have a 5* Roderick with meh IVs but that’s pretty much it for what I currently own.

As for my not-cavalry options, I already have maxed out and fully built Joshua (my husbando), Olivia and Eirika. I just don’t see me using Lyn in the foreseeable future. But at the same time I feel like I shouldn’t just give up a unit like Lyn with ideal IVs even if I’m never using her.

Basically I just need some guidance lol

Well how ideal is your Lyn's IVs?

+ATK -HP. Her two best spreads are that and +SPD, right?

Actually that's perfect, you want +atk more than anything. I suggest running her suggested build but replace Life and Death for Brazen Atk/Spd if you can afford it, if not then running Death blow 3 is your best option as her build is heavily player-phased focused as well as it isn't reducing her decent defenses, and her weapon with refine +eff it disregards the speed stat if you're below 75% of her health so speed wouldn't be an issue unless you're facing a ranged hero that doesn't have Close Counter. If you don't have Wrath for her try running Escape Route 3 on her since her B is flexible for other skills while you can run something like +3 attack or even the new Heavy blade seal.

What kind of team would you build around her? Honestly I just have so many more 5* reds than anything else, that’s why I was considering foddering her for a future cavalry team in the first place orz

If you really want Galeforce promote a Cordelia .
Choice is yours really.

Delthea, Linde (with Dark Aura), Brave Lucina and Fjorm (with water Blessing) seem like good choices for blue. For green, I would go with a bulky axe unit like Winter Lissa, Winter Chrom, Brave Ike, Dorcas, or Hector.

If you don't have a Winter Robin just use Death Blow 3 or Fury 3.

It may seem like a shocker but dancers are very recommended for Lyn's sweeping capabilities.

My only dancer is the red Olivia I mentioned in the OP. That and my only good green unit being Nino really kinda hamstrings my team building options, and is why I’ve not been using Lyn at all (Olivia+Eirika+Nino, or load up Olivia with buffing skills and use Joshua instead of Eirika just because I love him).

I’m trying to branch out into teams that don’t necessarily need dancers, hence my looking at making a cavalry team. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for a bulky green to pair with Lyn though like Honorable Ninja recommended. I could build one of the blues he suggested (Fjorm was free!) but I don’t have anything close to functional for that Hector-like slot atm

Anyways, I’ll find another way to build my Eldigan and hang on to Lyn when I have the support she needs. Thanks for the input!
