Units you really look forward to pulling? (not for fodder)

Just got excited over my realization in the Ayra vs Karla discussion. Now I want +atk -def Fir, doesn't matter 3* or 4*.

What about you guys?

Marth +spd -res, actually. Or maybe +atk. I want one without -HP because I use reciprocal aid healing.
L.Marth, Laegjarn, Y.Tiki, Micaiah. Ayra would be nice, would make AA easier.
Other ideal IVs: Ares, Eirika, Soleil, Hana, Fir, Lon'qu, Lilina, A.Tiki, Laslow, Olivia, Silvia, Roy (over 12 copies and still no +def -HP?!), Seth and Stahl for 4* merges

It's a strange thing to say isn't it, "I need a blue flier" but I'm kind of in the same boat. Have Tana +res -spd but with this new refine I'll probably put her on a mixed team. And I'm keeping base kit on F.Morgan because she's useful as an anti-Reinhardt and I might fodder her tome sometime.

What will you do with Klein?

Lewyn I want one of because I was dumb for not going harder for him and keeping the best one. All of my infantry green mages kinda suck (Deirdre carries, but she can only do so much), so there's some regret there. Some will be fodder.

Also add Morgan to the list for blue. My flier emblem really is weak due to my blue being very meh. I have a Shigure that I invested into slightly but I never really kept it going. I just pray everytime that Elincia just solves all my problems and a good blue flier (especially with hones) is what I need!!! (come home :()

I do have a +8 Gordin now... still neutral. I'm very sus of these ivs.

And Klein was originally going to be my archer +10 but it's too much of a burden to +10 him over someone else when you need him for pretty much everything. Right now he's +2 with +Spd-Def ivs. I just want more copies so if I ever want to merge him again I can

yeah I'm kind of blind. Most of them aren't fodder, just the ones at the bottom (mainly). The ones like "____ would be nice" are for merges for characters I have right now, for example Neph and Ishtar, or Elincia and Swordhardt.

You know I'm actually not that partial to seasonals but my H!Jakob is irreplaceable. He's the only reason I can beat these clownish abyssal maps. he just wins

Do you use a healer? Otherwise how does he put up with the counterattacks

I mean, Brave Bow+ Bold Fighter with 33/32 is still pretty good. A healer might be necessary once and a while but not constantly.

Counterattacks? You jest!

I actually just play around when he Glacies someone to death. He rarely ever sees counterattacks if I can help it. Most mages won't survive his first 2 hits, and if they do they don't survive glacies. It's all about cycling his special. It helps no melee can counterattack on these things.

Don't they have like 80HP? You can only glacies every third shot otherwise my Felicia would destroy the entire map with flashing blade

They all still die even with the HP boost. I have a +Atk-Def +1 Jakob with 3 dancers as support to buff his attack up as high as it can go. (One is Flier Olivia so I'm free to run tactics). 46 Atk base, +6 +3 +3 +3 +6 (Death Blow) and Threaten Defense. He gets 67 atk x4 with a debuff on the enemies defense occasionally. If I could get Defense Smoke it'd be even better but it works well enough. It gets pretty nasty. But! They did it first so I'm still in the right.

Honestly? I'll be honest here. I would love to have at ONE Alm, Lucina, Hinoka and Ryoma. I have yet to pull a single one of these units, and base Lucina is starting to look like a mythical unit that will forever elude me.
Other than these I would love some Nephenees because that's my baby and I need 8 more to +10 her. Lastly I wouldn't mind the H!Mia, I love the POR and RD units so I'm a sucker when I see them.

-Olivia, definitely. I need 3 more merges and a +Atk -HP IV set.
-Four more Lon'qu's. I +6'd him as soon as his refine dropped, so I want to get him to +10.
-OG Ike. Mine is at +3 from about a year ago, I haven't pulled him in ages, and I regret choosing the +Atk -HP instead of +Spd -Res.
-Sanaki. Probably my favorite mage at the moment after getting pitybroken by her 3 times with outstanding IV's (+Atk -Def currently.) Plus, I love her art.
-B!Roy. Outclassed, yeah, sure, but he's got a statline of 60/40 at the moment with L&D and is an awesome character still.

Green;
-Dierdre. Amazing art. 'Nuff said.
-Titania, also for art, but I already have her as a 4+10 so I'm more waiting to be able to promote her from that 4+10 to a 5+10 in one go.

Blue;
-W!Robin since I quite like him and he's a pretty great mixed-tank with Berkut's.
-Azura, since I've never had her before and I've got some builds to try.
-I also have a soft spot for Sully, for some reason.

Colorless;
-I NEED THAT LAST GENNY MERGE ALREADY. Luckily she'll likely be on the next B8 banner. My SS unit.
-I also need 6 more F!Grimas. Also a part of my core team.
-I also need one last B!Lyn merge. I pull colorless a lot.
-Also Mist, since I have never pulled her.
-And lastly I'd say I want the rest of the PA!Olivia merges. That art is too awesome.

Regarding Fir, she is a great unit but, I think -DEF IV is a mistake... At +10 she can have very respectable physical bulk with a proper setup. In fact you might even consider a +DEF IV (2nd best after + ATK imo)

I see gamepress suggesting always lowering your worst defensive stat and, in a lot of cases it is a horrible idea, especially when it's DEF (even worse on bladetomes, I have no idea how they expect the unit to enter desperation range against DC physical heroes or dragons)

Ah, but I was planning on giving her wrath with no merges and using her against dragons exclusively unless a healer gets involved

Generally, though, I agree. For example, I actually consider +def the best thing for Delthea after +spd, and I don't like -def on SF Nino

Nowi (6 more copies) , A! Tiki (3 more), Soleil ( 7 more since I began merging her) and Soren ( need 9 copies, after duel skill became a thing in heroes I decided to build him), for 5* merge projects.
Setsuna, Saizo, Virion 1 copy required for 4* merge projects.
F! Morgan +spd -def (-atk is passable but still), +spd -hp Odin, +def -spd Leo, +atk -def Julia (-atk hurts too much), +atk -spd OG and L Eiphraims.
