Units to downgrade from 5*

We got some units downgraded but as more units get introduced, the 5* is getting larger and larger while the 3* star remains untouched. I'm wondering what units need to be downgraded possibly due to age or some skill that seldom people use. Asking for fun and to know everyone's thoughts.

They need to demote Saber (Shield Pulse 3), Luke (Fire Boost 3), Leo (Savage Blow 3) off the top of my head. Will add more as I go through my catalog.

And people complain about getting pity broken by mist.

The only problem I have with this is Leo should give QR 3 at 4 stars instead.

According to his game file, he does come with QR3 at 4*

I definitely agree about Leo, not only because of his good skills but also because I still haven't gotten one of him at all and I still want him.

Red - Eldigan, Gray, Karel, Leo, Lyn, Saber, Sanaki, Young Tiki
Blue - Azura, Ephraim, Hinoka, Olwen
Green - Julia, Minerva, Rhajat
Colorless - Elise, Faye, Mist

Maybes:

Red - Ike, Katarina, Lucina, Luke, Ryoma, Siegbert
Blue - Delthea, Linde, Ninian, Shiro, Tana
Green - Amelia, Kana, Sonya
Colorless - None I can think of

If they get demoted, the farthest I can see them going is into the 4-5 star pool, though 3-4 would be a blessing.

There are soo many choices. And I don't get why they don't. They don't run the majority of these characters on banners so they don't make money off of these units anyway,

I am gonna be so happy if ephraim downgraded.
I will choke him with all the feathers I got.

Getting more Faye would definitely be helpful as a source for her bow, which I'd like to give to a couple other of my units. I actually got a spare one of her a long time ago and immediately merged her; regretting that now, since I don't use her hardly at all and would have liked her bow on someone else.

These are units that have no reason to be in the 5-Star pool, mostly because they are not really that good of units and If I would be generally disappointed if I drew any of these guys, like when has anyone ever wanted Luke

This a quick side question that I don't feel is big enough for its own thread, but should there a 4-star character for each seasonal re-run?

All of the TT reward units should be added to the regular pool or at least the five star pool.

I wouldn't mind if the TT units got added to the 5* poll but it would clutter up the red poll even more since theirs quite a few of them

I don't mind the 5 star pool being cluttered due to focus. I find the 3-4 star pool being cluttered harder to deal with because of merges. Also most of them have decent fodder so it's never gonna be THAT bad. We have BK, Joshua, Tobin. Wouldn't mind getting any of them,

I agree with people saying Lucina. She's a pity break since we've got a f2p alternative version of her.just expensive aether fodder unless you get good ivs and then like 5 more copies.

Normal Olwen honestly needs to be downgraded to 3-4*, I've honestly never seen anyone use her, and Reinhardt just out shines her so much mainly do to being in the 3-4* but also because he's just good. Now some other units I'd like to see get demoted, Gray, Saber, F.Kana (only cuz I really want to build her), I wouldn't mind if normal Ike got demoted since his Legendary vr. out class' him, Faye should honestly be demoted the other 2 Firesweep weapons are in the 4* poll so why not her, I think normal Hinoka should get demoted as well theirs far better Fling Lance units and we really need a Hone Flier unit in the 4* poll armor and Cav both have Hone for them in the 3-4* If I'm not mistaken so why the fuck is Hone Flier still 5* locked it's not like Fliers are really that op.

Honestly theirs a lot more units that should get demoted, some because I honestly feel like they should not be locked behind 5*, some because I want to build them, some because it would give easier access to skill's

And one more thing, IS, WHY THE FUCK IS GUARD STILL A 5* EXCLUSIVE SKILL, that shit needs to be on a unit at 4* already fuck we even got L&D at 4* before that did and L&D is used way more, then again that's probably the reason why it's used more

Or Titania, but seriously Guard needs a unit that has it a 4* already, not many units utilize it very well so why not make it 4* so we don't have to spend 20/22k feathers just to put it on the units thst can use it very well

Tbf if you are a tank in arena you are pretty much required to use it. They don't really make money on us throwing away our feathers though. If anything it just encourages us to play more.

Yah but the skill still got powercreeped hardcore for Armored units, Also we have 8 units that have the skill 1 ghb, 2 being seasonals, 3 5* exclusive in the poll, then their's Leon and Titania, that doesn't help anyone since people would rather use their feathers on merges and not on a skill. Yah I mean there are those few skills on 3-4* units that are 5* locked -caugh- QR3 -caugh- but they are probably used more often than Guard

Anyone pre-CYL 1 banner deserves to be lowered already imo. Maybe even Elincia and Nephenee too since Oscar is summonabe at 3 stars (and I would like to easily obtain a better IV Elincia haha).
That being said, IS wouldn’t wanna lower Hector at all, and maybe not even Ike and Ryoma either thanks to their DC weapons. But normal Ike is one of the worst pitybreakers at this point since his legendary form is literally a better version of him AND was given out for free!
