units that don't deserve 5* exclusivity or 5* rarity

What are some units you guys think dont belong as 5* exclusives and units that dont belong in the 5* pool? ---Besides the obvious choices like Faye, Cain, Abel, etc.

I think they should demote Azura because honestly Olivia does a much better job than her and is more flexible than Azura.

No reason for Catria to be the only Whitewing in the 5* pool as well.

Hinoka is just Est with more HP and less res.

Tiki (Y) has been outclassed by so many other dragons at this point+has no valuable skills and more people are running Tiki (A) because of her higher attack and easy accessibility.

Does anyone use Alm at all? Aside from Falchion medic builds? His stat spread is pretty bad and is outclassed by Chrom of all people.

Ogma, Corrin, Caeda*, Clair, Peri, Tailtiu (yes, already), Jeorge, Rebecca, Sakura...I'd pick more healers but they are kinda good rn.

This is the list of units that I think should be changed (sry if it's too clunky):

Ephraim: 5&4 star because since Eirika is also 5&4 stars so why not him as well?
Peri: should not even be 5*
Minerva: Maybe have her at 4* rarity with L&D 3
Seliph: demote to 4&3 stars
Seth: same as seliph
Ogma: same as above
Clair: same as above
Luke: 4* rarity w/ Panic Ploy

I would probably list more, but this is all that I could think of.

Peri, clair and ogma are already 4* available.

I meant demote them to 4&3 stars instead of 5&4 stars, my wording probably confused you.

Ephraim since his sister has a 4-star, remove Ogma and Raven entirely(they broke my hunt for Axura and Elincia respectively a long while back), Minerva can stand to be with Maria as a 4-star, finally Young Tiki, Lyn, and Takumi can join the other units that have summoning movies.

EDIT: Olwen needs to get demoted, too. If Reinhardt can be obtained as a 4-star, then so should she.

I think Takumi being 4* might be a bit of an issue since it could over saturate the game with Close Counters. Other than that yea I think the rest should move down.

Close Counter isn't good unless you have at least 25 Defense. Funnily enough, best guy for it is Leon, and he attacked at close range in his game at base. Though, it might be funny and make the game feel more like normal Fire Emblem.

All Lords should be obtainable at 5* at least, but should also be at 4*. I also think Azura should stay and no, Olivia is not better and requires more investment than her. Not that it's matter as they're both dancers. And a Young Tiki with Lightning Breath is a bit better than her older counterpart. Still, need to not be in the five star pool. Other than that, I completely agree with everyone else you mentioned.

I have Jeorge as 4*. I think that heroes with Legendary weapons should remain as 5*, maybe adding a 4* addition where they obtain their legendary weapon at 5* only, like +weapons and at a slightly higher amount of SP (like Jeorge).
Anyone who does not have access to legendary weapons should not be in the 5* pool imo. You missed Nephenee, Ogma and Faye, but I'm not sure about her (why is Ogma even 5* in the first place?!). And with Dagger and Staff units out of the colourless 5* pull, we would have a higher chance of obtaining whatever 5* focus in the colourless category, and IS wouldn't want that!
While I hate shitty pity breakers as much as the next guy, I don't think IS will address this issue because of the ridiculous amounts of money they earn from this game, unless something significant happens which forces them to act, for example, losing large amounts of profit from a player boycott or something. That's also why many games, unfortunately, cater to paying players rather than F2P players, to tempt them to spend for that ONE hero they've been wanting for ages. That's how it works now, and people are greedy.

You know what? Yeah, heroes with legendary weapons SHOULD remain at 5*. No sense in using 20k feathers for a Legendary upgrade.

And yeah, IS is a business and they want people to spend money. Even a few people are unhappy, it's all about the ones who pay. It's not a bad thing but, it's the truth.

Honestly just remove 99% of the red and blue pool. This comes from someone who got Seliph, Alm, Saber, and Cain trying to get H!Nowi and who got a worthless cordelia trying to get W!Robin. So yeah, i h8 myself

If that is what you want, then only summon on the legendary banner. There needs to be some additional luck to pulling the 5* star you want. And the game shouldn't fix itself just so you can get what you want all the time. I agree that many 5* don't deserve to be 5*, but that is the luck of the draw. Besides, you appreciate it more when you finally get what you want. So don't hate yourself.

And removing all the 5* apart from focus actually hurts your chances of pulling a 5*. You remember what said about the 8% banner, right? I just think some need to be removed and most should be available at 4*.

Also, H!Nowi is not that good. She comes with nice skills but, a lot of investment is needed and the right IV as well. Take from a guy with one. And I want W!Robin mostly wanted for Armor March. He has nice skills and stats, but if his IVs don't live up, he's going to Effie. Plus, he's still an armored unit with 1 move, and thus, a bitch to train. Trust me, it's not end of the world.

They need to start demoting, but not because we can't get what we want. Plus, they like money, so there's that.

P much everyone.... If I had to pick the only units to be in the non-focus 5* pool it would be:
Red: Ryoma, Celica, Ayra, Elincia, Sigurd, Siegbert, Lyn, Mia
Blue: Effie, Ephraim, Nephenee, Blucina, Linde, Delthea, Lute
Green: Hector, Bike, Dorcas, Amelia, Julia, and Diadora
Colorless: Elise. That's it. Make every other healer 4* only

Huh, difficult for some reasons, but yes, there are too much 5-star Units and less 3-star units, which sometimes can be very annoying.
I mean for example at the winter special banner i pulled Seth, Boey, Cordelia and Tana before i getting my first Focus Units with Winter Robin and especially the first three ones don't make me very happy, because they are alle available at 4-star rarity (and it was my second Boey, third Cordelia and second Tana at 5-star...so...)

This is my list, which units in my opinion should be completely demoted or should be available at 4-star too.

Abel - shouldn't be a 5-star
Amelia - should be a 4-star, too, but Armor March only at five, because it is too strong and it's better you have to invest for it
Athena - shouldn't be a 5-star
Boey - shouldn't be a 5-star
Cain - shouldn't be a 5-star
Catria - shouldn't be a 5-star, i mean her two sisters are 3 and 4, so why she isn't?
Corrin(M) - shouldn't be a 5-star because Corrin(F) and die other "me" from Awakening Robin(M), nor Robin(F) are 5-stars
Effie - shouldn't be a 5-star, I really love her, but there are not much blue armors so it is easier to get her, many other retainers aren't 5-stars and she has no very unique and overpowered skill
Ephraim - should be a 4-star, too, because his sister Eirika is
Faye - should be a 4-star, too, because Roderick and Soleil has Firesweep Weapons, too and they are available at 4/5, so it would make sense
Genny - should be a 4-star, too, since Weapon Refinery Wrathful Staff isn't exclusive to her, so why not?
Hawkeye - shouldn't be a 5-star
Hinoka - should be a 4-star, too, because Cordelia is a better version of her and it would make flier emblem more viable and easier to get, because of Hone Fliers, the skill, only she has as non-"seasonal"-unit
Jaffar - shouldn't be a 5-star
Jakob - shoudn't be a 5-star and the hell god knows why he is
Julia - should be a 4-star, too - I'm not sure here, but because Deirdre is very similar, Julias Weapon can be upgraded to Deirdres and because Seliph is 4/5 too, it would make more sense in my opinion
Karel - shouldn't be a 5-star
Katarina - should be a 4-star, too, i guess she is more important than Boey and Mae, but the only owl tome, which is really hard to get so far; maybe she could stay at 5-only, if they will release another Unit with red owl tome
Lucius - shouldn't be a 5-star
Lukas - shouldn't be a 5-star
Luke - should be a 4-star, too and make Panic Ploy more available
Lute - should be minimum a 4-star, too, because she has literally nothing special, it doesn't counts, that she is a "Choose your legend" hero imo, tbh
Mae - shouldn't be a 5-star
Maria - shouldn't be a 5-star
Merric - shouldn't be a 5-star
Minerva - should be a 4-star, too and maybe makes Life and Death more available (at 4-star of course)
Mist - should be a 4-star, too
Ninian - should be a 4-star, too, to make it easier to get dancers who are not Olivia and because most of the times she should be worse than Azura, who is besides that much more important in her game
Ogma - shouldn't be a 5-star
Olwen - should be a 4-star, too, because Reinhardt (the better one, lol) is
Oscar - shouldn't be a 5-star
Peri - shouldn't be a 5-star, same reason like Effie, but there are much more lance horses, too, so she is much more unimportant
Rebecca - shouldn't be a 5-star
Rhajat - should be a 4-star, too, more than Soleil she has nothing THAT special to stay at 5-star only
Saber - should be a 4-star, too
Sheena - shouldn't be a 5-star; it's difficult, but there are so much green Armor 5-Star Heros so far and so Sheena could be the green Draug/Gwendolyn
Tharja - shouldn't be a 5-star; I love her, but than it would make more sense in comparison with Odin and Nino
Tiki(Y) - should be a 4-star, too

So thats my list - I think I left a few units where they are like Leo (so two Royals from both sides, Hoshido and Nohr, stay at 5-star only) or Seth and Titania (that at least one Triangle Adept Weapon from each color stays at 5-star) or Gray (because of Zanbato AND Valor-Skill (which are all only available at 5-Star (on seasonal units for whatever reason)) and maybe some other (if I maybe kicked all Brave Weapons of one color out of the 5-star pool, then maybe at least one should stay at 5-star too)...
