Unit to upgrade to 5 star.

On the picture, I have some 4 star units, but I am not sure which unit to improve. My current team is a Sheena, Hector, Martha, and a 4 star Corrin(F) which is seen in the picture, with either unit I can try to switch out. I want to get an opinion for a character I should use for future battles. Thank you for seeing this, and criticism is welcome.

Maria: Res+, Spd-
Corrin(F): Atk+, Spd-
Robin(M): Atk+, Res-
Gunter: Atk+, Spd-
Olivia: Atk+, Def-
Gordin: Atk+, Spd-
Hinata: Atk+, Res-
Nowi: Atk+, Hp-

I would have held off merging, better for Inheritence and + merging at 5 star for stronger units. What 5 Stars do you have other than Sheena, Marth and Hector? I would suggest the Catria or Nowi since it seems like you are missing a blue, or Corrin if shes your favorite character. Robin is good too, but I find him kind of slow, hes really tanky though.

Corrin is indeed faster, but while her Speed and Defense is superior, Nowi does more damage and has more res and hp. So Corrin may be superior in some situations, but Nowi is relatively tanky to both mages and dps. the only downside is that her speed is on the low end. But she does have 6 stats above Corrin which also attributes to her BST

I saw another person's question, which was like mine, except with estimated IV's, so I edited the question to include estimated IV's. Would Corrin still be better than Nowi with a Spd- IV? Thank you for answering the question.

I'd say go with Nowi. She has more stats than Corrin. And Spd is probably the most important stat unless 1. the unit is too low of a speed where it would make no difference, or 2. the units atk is too low where the unit doesnt have enough dmg where the spd is worth it.

Having a -Spd IV really hurts her.

In my earlier post, I was pointing out that for most players, they will agree that Nowi is better than Corrin, with the additional stats and better spread. Nowi's just slow thats all. But this is a game where you should level up characters you like, so if you like Corrin, go with it. If you want to have a stronger unit, you could always unlock Nowi first, and find a better IV'd Corrin as well. Whichever you prefer.

Note: Higher BST also nets higher scores in Arena
