Unique idea for Brave Roy

I was thinking about trying to add either Fire Boost 3 or Death Blow 3 to give Roy more synergy and damage with Blazing Durandal's built in Heavy Blade. Is it worth it?

Not really. B!Roy needs to double in order to kill virtually any opponent. L&D 3 or Swift Sparrow 2 is, therefore, better since it increases atk and spd simultaneously. Fury is another option to increase his overall bulk when attacking into a strong physical blue unit.

His HP isn't really high enough to utilize Fire Boost 3... And yeah, like RyomaLobster stated, he needs to double. I personally run Fury 3, due to the double effect of boosting all his stats AND helping him safely sink into Desperation 3 range.

The ideal setup is to have BRoy attack, get countered, then kill with the follow up, which procs Galeforce and either allows him to continue pressing offensively, or retreat back to safety. Pairs well with WoM units because of this, especially dancers for obvious reasons.

Yeah, like many units who rely on their legendary weapon to be great, BRoy is pretty straightforward. He's still extremely fun to use, even with his "same old" build.

If he has a +speed IV, give him either fury or death blow since he will already double most units. If he has any other IVs, give him swift sparrow or darting blow

Fire Boost is about contraddicting as it gets, as he doesn't even reach 40 HP unless he's +HP and has a Seal for it (which still isn't enough to proc that consistently). His best go is probably Fury or L&D. I'm considering L&D2 because that can get him close to 40 Spd before Cavalry buffs.

I run Life and Death 3, I checked Kagero's chart for the best IV spread. +Atk is better suited for a Cavalry team as full buffs lets him win more match ups, while +Spd is better for off cavalry teams (Like you're not using a full cavalry team)
