The Two Tanks of Radiant Dawn

Ever since I merged these two, their Defense and Resistance are pretty solid to the point I made them support each other. Even better is that their IVs are polar opposites(Zelgius Def+/Res-, Micaiah Res+/Def-) and they work very well side by side to take hits the other can't. Sure those defenses pale to SD King Otaks' Beruka, but still respectable nonetheless.

I'm still building up their sets and it's going to be a very long time before I can ever pull them again(gotta save for that Anniversary and Legendary Banner), but what do you all think?

That beautiful face. Damn, do I wish I had a Zelgius.
That Def stat is so beautiful, just like her Res stat. I'm gonna try this with my Black Knight now for next week!

Who are your other armors? And do you ever use the Warp powder?

+1 merged Black Knight(he alternates with his unmasked self), +3 merged HP+/Spd- Winter Tharja(Reinhardt check), +1 merged Def+/Spd- Effie(nukes a lot of stuff), and Atk+/Res- Winter Chrom(Wary Fighter wall), all of them packing Ward Armor to avoid Panic Ploy shenanigans.

Funny thing is that a Resistance bane on Zelgius is the very same that Black Knight has. XD

I'm saving up SP for other skills first before I get Warp Powder, but I'll give it a shot once I get it.

Next week is gonna be fun! So you'll run your armor team + Micaiah?

Micaiah will be the oddball out and she suffers from a super bane, but she'll do fine in any case.

I'll probably run Zelgius, Winter Tharja, Micaiah, and Airzura. Having a flying dancer is going to be useful.

Oh god, I can't wait for next week! Alfonse can leave my team, and Lyn can return to shoot that Airzura out of the sky! She ruined so many streaks for me this week. :P

Just beware of using a Brave Bow build; if there's an opposing Micaiah, you need to make sure she isn't packing the Deflect Missile seal since Thani will knock down the first hit by 30% and the seal will do the same to the second hit depending on its level. If Micaiah somehow survives, Lyn is probably gonna get blasted off her horse pretty badly.

I know, I used to bait Lyn in the arena using Deflect Missile on my Micaiah this week. However, She's -atk, so I had to use the atk +3 seal instead :(

Now I just try to bait Lyn close enough so then Micaiah can one shot her first. She is really the best Lyn and Rein counter!

Winter Tharja on an armor team and Micaiah are the best counters for those two, period.

You know, with Berkut's Lance and Heavy Blade Seal your Effie could work at a check to all mages save for maybe Blade Tome Cecilia/Nino. And that is if you aren't running Wary Fighter. Neither could OHKO that Effie. I know from personal experience. I personally run QR because I didn't get a spare W!Tharja, but with that and Heavy Blade Seal I can run Aether effectively, even on the off chance someone is able to hurt her.

Only problem is using Berkut's Lance means I need Distant Counter and I only have one Hector(he may be Def+/Atk-, but he's still useful). I've actually been testing out the team of Zelgius, W!Tharja, Micaiah, and NY!Azura and they're doing incredibly well.

They seriously need to make Distant/Close Counter Seals. Hopefully there's a good seal in the Mini Tempest Trial.

They look like walls lol.if you have a deirdre or get a spare one, spd plot would be an amazing c skill for micaiah as well

I do have a spare Lute and was thinking of giving Micaiah the Res Ploy. Sounds good, don't you think?
