Aaahhhh ok so last night I summoned this boy without even wishing for him and I was so incredibly happy, and then tonight was the first summon I did since I got him last night and I got another one!
My first one was +res -hp, and my new one is +atk -spd. (I seem to be cursed with the +atk/-spd or +spd/-atk IV sets)
So... which one is better? A lot of just meh units can't double him if he's got the neutral spd, but +atk is.... I dunno.
Depends on the set you want to build him around. Go with +res/-hp if you want to utilize him as either a physical tank or a DC unit, as those are pretty much neutral IVs. However, if you want to abuse his cooldown cuts and go with a DB AoE special set, I'd recommend +atk/-spd as the attack stat is all that matters at that point.
Ares is all about attack and defense so you should definitely maximize one of those stats. -Spd pretty much ideal since base 30 spd is way below average and is pretty much impossible to salvage. Ares is supposed to one shot as much as possible so definitely go for the +atk one.
